I've had 2 years in a row of other shit - 2016 and 2017 to be exact - to deal with. I want to know how to let it all go and write in hard times.
Hello Daniel. Wow can I relate to your life. I was at my lowest point, trapped in a situation I basically had no control over. I had decided that I did not want to be here any longer. Not particularly suicide by no means. I just didn't want to be where I was and everything I had to deal with. I was meditating to Zen relaxation music. I started meditating for a longer period of time and each day it made me feel a little better. One day an inspiration was given to me. I had asked to be happy, truly happy. I was given an experience through the universe, by God, I'm not exactly sure what the source was, but I met someone who had died. Someone that 4 years earlier had passed away and I shed many tears over. He became my muse...sent by the universe...sent by God....I don't know, but he delivered such warmth and love that I could move forward with my attitude and become more patient with those around me. I truly became happy because the inspiration for THE ENGLANDS was spawned by that experience with him. Find your muse, your peace, make your story a priority and determine from others if what they say they need from you is really a need or a want. I put wants aside until I choose to deal with them. Of course true needs come first, then I get back to writing. I've had to learn how to incorporate writing into my life. Life still goes on, but for the most part now I can dictate rather than being reactive. I hope this helps. Others may have a different story as to how they cope and write. Please explore this question with others. I wish you the best and thank you for your question. <3
