Because some people have standards and not everyone is ready for some things at the same age.
I respectfully disagree. I think repressing information about sex, which is a very major part of life, can easily cause problems for people. But my point was, it's the indiividuals choice to read whatever they want. This is exactly why books get banned, because one person thinks something is not okay for other people to read. I personally think it's fine. Especially because this particular book is hardly an offensive text.
