Golly, you, Josh Lanyon, and her faithful readers are so damn LITERARY! Austen is my favorite author, but I still have to go with Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara because it's NEVER going to work out, no matter how much people want it to, and despite any subsequent novels to the contrary. Mrs. Mitchell was brilliant in her one literary effort whether you think the novel was a big ol' soap opera or just trash. Favorite Austen couple are Captain Frederick Wentworth and Miss Anne Elliot in "Persuasion". I can be literary too!
LOL-- Rhett and Scarlett won't work out because he's too damned good for her, that's why! And the thing about literature is that it did it first ;-)
I thought Aeschylus did everything first!
