Matthew Copeland I read the poem yesterday, and found it to be a thing of beauty in itself. I read the forward this morning, and began the commentary, and to me, it makes the farce of Kinbote's review more apparent. Perhaps the experience @milesross describes above is lost to me, but I enjoyed reading the poem by itself, and letting it be a work of its own. That's how I came across it anyhow. I look forward to continuing the rest of the book. Cheers!
