Are you planning on writing another book? If so will it be a mystery? And do you write any short stories as well? And how did you do the research for Murder On The Strike Of Five and made it so authentic? Research is one my weak points and I really want to be authentic in my settings so that the readers won't stumble and allow a mistake to get in the way of being interested in the story.
We are currently writing two more murder mysteries which we hope will be out early next year. We haven't done any short stories yet but we might do in the future. Nearly all the research for Murder on the Strike of Five was done on the internet. We also had some Russian friends who helped us with the names in particular. The first book I tried to write, I spent two years doing research and got overwhelmed by all the information I had, which made it harder just to write a good story, so I never finished it. This time we put the story first and the research second, to "colour it in".
