I'm so glad I'm not the only one whose books changed them! My first novel turned me into a germophobe, since the main character was one. (Oh and I absolutely ADORED CNV and RUF. SO GOOD. I wept buckets!)
I've had similar things happen! I got my first manicure after writing CNV and started fussing over my nails!
that's amazing. Thanks so much for letting me know! It's absolutely *wonderful* to hear things like this - to know that people have actually acquire new interests and expanded their horizons as a result of things they've picked up on in my books. Writing is a very solitary occupation and it's fantastic to learn the very concrete way I've affected people. Thank you!
