You are right. It is a great read and I guess any author has to dress up things a bit if his book has to make interesting reading, especially if it is based on true events. Same is true of movies based on real events. Thanks for the reply.
Bruce, Jai, let's remember that right up front, Capote tells us that there will be four shotgun blasts and six deaths. And by the first few chapters, we know the who, when, what, and where. Capote turns this into a thriller by holding out on the how and why until the final moments. So, no matter what, this is a true, brilliant, thriller of a book. Jai, Bruce, great discussion!
