Charles I guess I missed my opportunity to ask Mr. Connelly a question. I would ask if it's possible Harry will sort of mentor or "groom" his daughter in her (at least in one book, she expressed the interest) in becoming a detective; or was it a criminal profiler? Now I'm doubting my memory!

Cynthia Vanaria I would love to read more Mickey Haller stories--they're my FAVORITES!

Timothy Guess I missed the question window also. I was going to ask, "Mr. Connelly, did you ever self publish before Little Brown and Hatchette Group signed you?

Susan Elizabetha I have read several of the Bosh series and a few of the Lincoln Lawyer-Mickey Haller series . I will have to watch the Lincoln Lawyer movie. I highly recommend the book. And I bet Matthew McConaughy is great in the movie.

Charles I'd like to see Harry mentor Maddie as she pursues her dream/quest to become a cop and follow in her dad's footsteps!

Dawn I really like the Mickey Haller books too. I like the last one with both Bosch and Haller the The Reversal. Great story. Looking forward to the next book.

Paul Backalenick Inspired in part by Michael Connelly, Carrie's Secret is a psychological whodunnit that follows the gripping tale of Carrie, a teenage psychiatric patient with a terrible secret.

Told with an insider's knowledge, "Carrie's Secret" takes you into a Boston mental hospital in the 1980s as a suburban couple struggles to understand and help their threatened daughter. And she is not the only one in danger there. When she falls (or is she pushed?) out a window, there are many suspects among the patients and staff, but the police settle on Jared, an aide at the hospital, as their prime suspect.

And then there is Carrie's older sister Wendy, a beautiful girl who disappeared without a trace a year before. What happened to her is the start of everything. It seems almost everyone is trapped one way or another and you will keep turning the pages right up to the unexpected twist at the end. Readers called it a "compelling, exciting book" they "could not put down."
