I think Rowan is good for her as a friend because they understand each other. But I don't feel any chemistry between the two of them. Then again, I'm in the minority. I find it ironic that I see her relationship with Rowan as a physical thing. Also, he had hurt her before (punched and hit her). You don't hit your mates. Then again, Rowan had no idea about Aelin being a slave. I was expecting an apology at least, but whatever.
*I meant bit.* Not hit. Kind of what like Tamlin did to Feyre in ACOTAR.
The mating bond hasn't snapped in place yet, so they aren't mates. They have a potential, though.
That's not the only similarity between this and ACOTAR series.
