I would much prefer it be adapted for TV although it does make me nervous. The only other series I have fallen in love with other than yours is Tess Gerritsen's and I have to admit seeing how her series was adapted for TV has left a sour taste in my mouth. I suppose I could be just a little protective over the books I love though ;)
