I have heard from many the redemption they're waiting for never happens in this book. I think you made a wise choice and I suggest you not revisit it , tons of us couldn't get through it , even without having experienced such things. This book ended up in a lot of garbage cans. Maybe her NEXT book will be toned down, no one questioned her ability to write , just her repeatedly brutal subject matter, enough already.
You might be right, Camie. I think maybe I was wanting to prove to myself that I am strong enough to get through it. I didnt want to keep reading it and that should be enough reason to stop. I think I will take it off my shelf. Thank you for your comment. :-)
