Martino Liu Interesting. I share with you the umbrella notion. I pretend to unify the UX notion of design with the old conception of what design really is. I find that UX is a term used to descrive the designer that work in the Digital Solutions Industry. So an equyivalent would be a designer that work at a farm tryin to solve the many issues that farmes encounter in their everyday activities. so this designer needs to get a hand from many other disciplines in orther to achieve the best solution posible that will give the farmer the best experience while doing the job. What would you say?

Jack Moffett First, stop typing while you're driving, dude! ;)

Certainly, the majority of UX practitioners are working in the realm of digital solutions. But, generally speaking, we recognize that UX is much bigger than that. We have a collection of methods and tools that help us solve problems with people in mind, whether a computer is involved or not. And yes, we do that best when we collaborate with other people with different knowledge and skill sets.

Martino Liu I read your book in 5 days this past march. Really good book, the only one talking about UX and web development in my university library. So it is the book that introduced me to the readings about UX, another book I read is the elements of UX design by Jesse James Garret. I hope to write a book about it sometime in the next months.
