E.Michael Helms Hi, Kat: Thanks for answering, and don't worry about the delay. Stuff happens as we all know too well!
I generally know how my novels will begin and end. I use a calendar as I write, filling in scenes daily or however the plot-line progresses. I suppose in a very general sense you might call that a loose outline, but I record the events/scenes as they occur. Sometimes I find the need to go back and rearrange the scenes, or change/add to them as the need arises. That's about as far as I go with "outlining." When it comes down to it, I don't suppose my way is really outlining -- rather it's keeping up with the events/plot as it progresses. Thanks again, and I wish you continued success with your writing! --Michael
