Rothfuss and Martin can both try the patience of someone who has already started reading their big fantasy series.
To say nothing of Melanie Rawn's The Capital's Tower.
If you haven't read any of Michael J Sullivan's Riyria novels, do yourself a favor!
I bought them already, but I'm reading through Guy Gavriel Kay's books, and Steven Erikson's Malazan stories, and Janny Wurtz Alliance of Light stories, and David Gemmell's Drenai tales, and Juliet Marillier's series that starts with "Daughter of the Forest." I do plan on reading The Riyria novels someday though.
And now, 6 years later, no sign of the next book from Pat or Scott. :(
