I am 4 years too late but I think humanity managed to climb the top of food chain without science. In fact we have accelerated our demise with help of science. Not that id like to live in a world without internet. 😅😅😅
No. As a matter of fact, we did reach here with the help of science. Science is not only sitting in a lab, making discoveries and inventions. The making of spears, the discovery of fire and the advent of agriculture were all based on scientific grounds, and thus the claim proposing that science did not help humans get to the top of the food chain is not based on stable grounds.
