I agree. In The Silent Wife you know the hubs is going to get his just desserts. In Gone Girl it's not so clear who is on the wrong side of the law.
At the beginning of Gone Girl I thought, my goodness this is so tedious but...having read Flynn's other novels, I suspected the bloodshed was just over the horizon. Would you recommend The Silent Wife to those who are looking for a read-alike for Gone Girl?

Totally agree. Very similar psychological thrillers that are hard to put down.
