I would competent agree with this! It's more descriptive than it needed to be.
It's not YA, why judge it by that standard?
Just realized I had a typo in my response, should have said completely not competent! Personally, I judge all books (to some degree) by bad words and sex scenes. Neither are needed in most situations, no matter who the book is geared towards, unless your specifically looking for those things in books (ex: erotica genre). I think Grace was just explaining her reading background and how the sex scenes compare to what she's used to.
