I do agree with you that the Alice sections did kind of annoy me as well with the way the voice was done. I did however enjoy the entire book. I just didn’t care much for Alices voice but chose to look past it...
Absolutely agree. I foundthe characters were one dimensional. I also thought the book needed a swift edit. I liked certain things about the the book that could have been brought out more with broader character building as well as cutting several longer and repetitive chapters.
I am the opposite. I like the Alice parts better, especially after she started her journey.
