I agree with you Ellie. It was fantastic! And like a lot of fantastic adult novels, I wouldn't recommend them for anyone under 16 (and even there, it'd be dependent upon the maturity of the 16 year-old.). Definitely New Adult/Adult. I also can't imagine a younger reader being interested as it's an exploration of grief/trauma due to circumstances that many teens (hopefully) wouldn't be able to relate too.
