Totally agree Little Feather. But not only would she turn Priyah but, chances are that if Christian slept with Dani he would kill her with sex- he talks about the hardon that never ever seems to go away.
Christian, before becoming an UnSeelie Prince, was a Druid. Recall in earlier Fever books, Drustan and Daegus MacKelter, Christian's "uncles" and also Druids, have been tailing Barrons, Ryodan, and that posse for a very long time.
That's a double whammy for Christian since the Nine don't trust or like Fae AND don't trust or particularly like Druids.
Yes, I remember that Christians family are Druids, but that really doesn't have anything to do with the fact that he is Unseelie Prince now (or almost 100%) and if he slept with Dani he would most likely turn her Pyria or kill her with sex
Ok, so to clarify, you guys think they were so upset about the whole thing because basically Dani was flirting with death and they are trying to keep her alive. And of course Ryo is jealous because of his whole ownership thing.
Little Feather, I think it's more consorting with the enemy than anything else.

1) Ryodan and his men think that Ryodan has some sort of "ownership" over Dani. So when she comes in "reeking of highlander" they are freaking because the fact that she smells like Christian says Christian has ownership over her. They know their boss won't be happy.
2) It could also be that they think she slept with Christian since how else would she smell so strongly of him? So of course Ryo's men would freak--because she is 14--and because Ryo is supposed to have ownership over her, not Christian.
Does this seem correct to anyone else or does someone have a different take on it?
When Ryodan finds out later that Dani was actually in Christian's bed, then he REALLY freaks. I wonder if he thinks they might have slept together. Although he knows Dani pretty well, hopefully well enough to know she wouldn't sleep with Christian. And I guess if she did she would be priyah... so maybe he was just worried that Dani was in Christian's bed?
