Agreed. it was like reading a b-rated teen novel with all the emotional angst to draw you in.
I agree that it was a badly written but but worse than that it was flat out pagan. The theology of this book could only appeal to American Christians who love this world more than their little god. True Christians serve the creator and Lord of the Universe and are happy to surrender all this passing world for Him, because of what He has done for us in the cross of Jesus. In the cross, Jesus drank the cup of wrath I deserve that I might be called righteous even though I am worthy of the hottest fires of Hell.

I didn't like it because I disagree with its theology and beca it was not well written, in my opinion. However, I'm happy that some people came closer to God as a result of reading it.
Justin Hoke-your comments are offensive to me. I loved the book and I do NOT love this world! I love Jesus Christ and proclaim that He is my Lord and Saviour! Watch how you portray Him to others lest you turn them in the wrong direction thinking that you have done some great thing for the cause of Christ!I am an American and I am a Christian, so that makes me an American Christian. true
