Okay...I'm rereading this for the 15th time of my life or so, and for the first time in many years, and it is better than ever. I just read the portion of his time as a security guard in San Francisco, a section of the book I remembered as boring. This time around I'm loving it. Can't stop laughing. So much subtle humor thrown in, and epic character sketches of random people. I love this book more than ever.
