This is an excellent point Nikki. I do agree with Ben who started this thread: I think a five star rating is too low and we would be better served with a ten. That being said, it is all pointless anyway. There could be nothing more subjective and biased than a book or movie review. Nevertheless, they are helpful, and necessary for new work coming out. What drives me crazy are people who rate the classics, like The Odyssey, or Moby Dick. Do books that have been revered for hundreds or even thousands of years really need my five star review? Seriously, who cares what I like or dislike about Homer, it's Homer!
