well..for me this was actually an average run-of-the-mill horror story..the gothic setting was a flashy bait that got me attracted!
It had good elements, like the abandoned castle in nowhere and the roaming ghost and stuff. but it dragged specially when they found the lost city, like most Coates books, cozy horror.
