Don't they need to be exposed to the amount of violence that occurs in the real world though? The text states, "These are very mature books that deal with some very mature ideas." This proves that the world has very mature subjects and it is best that adolescents learn about it before they are pushed into the world of adulthood.
Yes I agree with Savannah because kids shouldn't have been exposed to violent and mature books. These mature books may make the kids immature.
