Shelley Young Booklover123, you brought out some good points. What EL James did was bring awareness to a lifestyle that has been around for years by actually softening this lifestyle up a little bit. So if you thought the points you mentioned were bad? LOL. If I were you, I wouldn't read any other book with BDSM in it! This lifestyle is defnitely not for the faint of heart. James most definitely wrote Anastasia to be quite naive. As an author, I can't fault her for this. It was the only way she could bring the book together. If Anastasia had any sense, the book would have ended at chapter one. :-)
