It's just something that you have to wait out because creativity is not something that you can force. Creativity is something that happens on its own and although there are things you can do to boost that creativity or expand your talents, I absolutely don't believe that you can force a story when you're dealing with writer's block unless you really want it to sound forced.(less)

For me, as a person with an interest in human rights and social justice, the best part of being a writer is being able to push accepted boundaries or challenge ideas through fictitious stories with real life implications. One book may not change the world, but a single book can definitely rock somebody's world whether it be by changing something about them or reinforcing something they believe in. There's nothing like hearing that you've inspired someone or that they could relate to what you wrote. I know from experience reading other books that I'm thankful to other writers for writing about what I couldn't say as well, so creating a lasting impact through literature is really the best thing about being a writer.(less)

Noam Chomsky
“The last paradox is that the tale of Palestine from the beginning until today is a simple story of colonialism and dispossession, yet the world treats it as a multifaceted and complex story—hard to understand and even harder to solve. Indeed, the story of Palestine has been told before: European settlers coming to a foreign land, settling there, and either committing genocide against or expelling the indigenous people. The Zionists have not invented anything new in this respect.”
Noam Chomsky, On Palestine

Assata Shakur
“People get used to anything. The less you think about your oppression, the more your tolerance for it grows. After a while, people just think oppression is the normal state of things. But to become free, you have to be acutely aware of being a slave.”
Assata Shakur, Assata: An Autobiography

Ernesto Che Guevara
“At the risk of seeming ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love. It is impossible to think of a genuine revolutionary lacking this quality.”
Ernesto "Che" Guevara
