Jane Do children's books count? Also, I was so disappointed when I saw that last year I read just 14 books - I am sure I read more than that! But I don't include books for "work". Maybe I should start doing that...

Allison Ruth I'm not including children's picture books, but I am including children's chapter books (because I read them aloud to the girls every night so I think they count). And I think you should definitely count "work" books! When I was in grad school I counted every book I read.

I'm pretty sure that if I quit watching Netflix so much then I can at least come close to this goal. Maybe.

Jane Yeah, I think if I stop reading stuff on the internet I could come close to this goal too. I will look terribly dull if I add my work reading though...J E Penner on "The Law of Trusts" anyone?

Allison Ruth Ha! Well that is as bad as Hackett's Historian's Fallacies: Toward a Logic of Historical Thought - which is most definitely on my bookshelf.

No, not dull - think smart!
