The book store hit returns for more dark and dangerous urban fantasy! The third series in the best-selling original comic series, based on the award-wining novels by Ben Aaronovitch!
Ben Aaronovitch's career started with a bang writing for Doctor Who, subsided in the middle and then, as is traditional, a third act resurgence with the bestselling Rivers of London series.
Born and raised in London he says that he'll leave his home when they prise his city out of his cold dead fingers.
This is the last of the graphic novels in The Rivers of London series that I had, though this series wasn’t finished yet. Just as well because I prefer reading a book of hundreds of pages in several days to a week or so, rather than a few dozen pages in a half hour.
I’ll just have to do what I do for all my other favorite authors and wait for them to write another book. I currently have the newest books by Elizabeth George and Christopher Moore, published this month (April 2018), so at least I have some “good reads”to keep me busy.
My one regret is that the actual cover I have of #1 in this series didn’t print - it had four of the main characters and a dog and looked like an actual scene from Scooby Doo......
Rivers of London: Black Mould #3 “Of course guns are not so useful in this case.” - PC Peter Grant “So I thought the flamethrower..” - Maksim “No, Maksim. Not the flamethrower.” - Grant
Loving the format of these peter grant books. This so far is my favourite comic as I love the stand alone feel of this comic set compared to some of the others. I can recommend it to friends who read graphic novels who may not has read the Rivers of London novels
