This book was very fun and although unrealistic it was a nice change from what I normally read. This book actually had a well-developed storyline just like the first one in this trilogy. I recommend it for kids and adults who want to add something fun into their lives. :)

We listened to the audio version of this in car on our road trip. The kids (ages 13-5) really enjoyed this book and thought it was funny. It was okay- not as clever as some in my opinion but the kids like it! So my rating is more like a 3.5.

Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez is back in House of Robots! As his brother, E, is completing his first month of school, his little sister, Maddie, is starting her first year of third grade. Here's the thing: E isn't exactly what someone would call a normal person. He is in fact a robot created by Sammy's mother! E was made to be controlled by Maddie during school hours, as her immune system has trouble fighting off infections, so she can't leave the house. Afterwards, E can talk to Sammy like an average human being about brotherly stuff. When Sammy gets home, he is greeted by Blitzen, the veteran robo-football player, who mows the lawn nowadays. Then by Dingaling, the doorbell robot, and by the hydraulic cleaning machine, Mr. Moppenshine. The Breakfastinator can whip up a snack whenever Sammy's hungry, and then by Hayseed, the automated farmer. Brittany 13, the walking emoticon, might be talking about what's new on the internet. Sammy's father will be working on his comics upstairs, and Maddie will be in her room calling her friends. Everything is perfect... until a rival from Sammy's mom's old high school arrives in town, and presents his own version of the substitute student program. After a few days of being in town, E starts going haywire, Sammy's mom might be put out of work, and Sammy's dad isn't getting any new ideas for comic books! What will Sammy do to expose the new arrival for who he really is? Find out more in "House of Robots: Robots Go Wild!" Like in all of his children's books, Mr Patterson placed in plenty of jokes, like when Sammy

At the first of this book it started with Sammy really mad that he had to take a robot to school. He was the total nerd of the school. Until, he realized what it was for. It was for his little sister Maddie to go to school. She has a sickness so she can't even leave her room because of germs. Everyone has to wear masks when they come in and there are hand-sanitizer dispensers all over the house. But, then a school bully took E(that's the robots name, short for egghead.) He disassembled him and brought him back to Sammy's house in a box. Then his mom put him back together and made him have better upgrades. Then Sammy was the most popular one in school. E was smart, funny, and athletic, and could help little kids with bullies. Sammy was the star of the school.

One problem in this book was when Sammy was the total nerd of the school. It got fixed when his mom fixed up E and made him have cooler and better upgrades. Also when the school bully dissasembled E. This is a problem in every school. Bullies think they can do whatever they want and not have any consequences. They are always mean and never stop. Well, E fixed that. He scared every bully in that school away. He made sure that no more kids were picked on in the classroom or on the playground. The biggest problem in this book was with Maddie. She couldn't go to school. So her mom made her a very intelligent robot to do it for her. So, she can be in class as a robot, but still learn and be smarter than anyone in her class. Those are some problems that had solutions in this book.

This book was probably a three star book at best. It was very predictable and I knew what was going to happen when E got assembled. I also knew that his mom was going to be able to put E back together. She has never failed on a robot before, so why fail on her most important one? It also had a really slooow start. Like diary of a wimpy kid are really adventurous at the beginning middle and end. I just had to read this book for good reads and it was easy, so that why i persevered and read it. The only thing that I liked about this book was how it was kind-of adventurous when E was basically bullying a bully so they would stop. This book wasn't' very good.

Sammy has just gotten used to his robot buddy E going to school with him every day and helping his homebound sister Maddie attend the third grade when a new robot shows up at school. He's named SS-10K, is much flashier than E, and is made by Sammy's mom's rival, Professor Ingalls. All the kids who used to think Sammy was not a "Dweebiac" anymore start hanging out with SS-10K. Bad enough, until E starts acting really funny. Like, rampage-around-town funny. Sammy's mom can't figure out what's going on with E, but Sammy has a hunch it has something to do with SS-10K, especially when he sneaks over to Professor Ingalls' house and overhears his plans; his ploy to take Sammy's mom's job is just the beginning.
Kids will dive right in, but at the same time more advanced readers will find the antics somewhat forgettable, something prolific authors such as James Patterson seem to churn out in a week and forget about. One thing that makes ROBOTS GO WILD! in particular seem quickly made is that twice the art doesn't match what's going on with the words, such as when SS-10K is said to be sitting in front of the class and blocking everyone's view -- but in the picture he's sitting in the back. If the series wants to keep appealing to visual learners, it helps to remember just how attentive they are to details like these.
I like that it was a long but a short fun read at the same time. One thing I didn't like was that it was kind of childish or for a younger audience but still at some funny comments and topics I like. Football which I like a lot was in the book so that made it a little better.

At first this book was E was the best robot ever made. But then a robot name SS-10K came along. He was bigger, better, and smarter. E's creater, his mom, was the other robots rival. They grew up together, but she was always better until now. They decided to settle the rivalry. They did a robot football game, and whoever won, would be the best. In the end, E was the winner, and his mom was very happy.

One problem that was in this book was that a new robot came into town. The new robot was bigger, better and smarter. The solution came was when E got more and better improvements. Another problem was when the robots were playing the football game, the first three quarters, they were losing by 80-0. A solution was when E came in and freakin wrecked the other robots. He could fly, so he could take the ball from anyone. There were very many problem- and - solutions in this book.

This book was a four star book. It was pretty good, but it wasn't as good as other books I read. This books drawings were pretty good, better and more detailed than Jeff Kinney's "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" One let down though was that the books don't leave you on a cliff hanger, which I like because it makes me want to read the next one. I really enjoyed this book and read it pretty fast. It could've been more descriptive, but what can I say, and author can't always meet all of our need. Four stars at best.

Sammy’s home is filled with robots of all sizes, shapes, functions, and personalities. One prepares breakfast, another does the cleaning; there’s even a robotic butler, and a gardener. McFetch the robotic dog is a germ-free companion pet for Maddie, Sammy’s younger sister who is unable to leave the house because she has a severe immuno-deficiency.

The most important robot is E, Sammy’s bro-bot. He’s designed specially to go to school with Sammy so that Maddie can see through the robot’s eyes and participate in classroom activities. E is a prototype robot made by Maddie’s mother who is professor of computer science at the University of Notre Dame College of Engineering. Maddie is super-excited to be part of the project and going to school through E.

But some pupils resent all the attention Sammy receives because of E. Then there’s the scheming Professor Iggy Ingalls from Indiana Robotics and Automaton Tech who sends his son to Sammy’s school accompanied by a superior robot so his homebound brother can access learning. The powerful Robot SS-10K sets out to discredit E and soon Sammy’s mother is at risk of losing her job.

Copious black-and-white illustrations support the storyline with entertaining action shots. The robots are given individual characteristics and shortcomings, while the humans do their best to keep up. Amusing text in the speech bubbles adds to the reading pleasure.

Robots Go Wild is a cracker tale of astute detective work, good versus evil, and hilarious disasters. It’s an excellent graphic novel for primary and intermediate-age readers.

Dr. Ingalls and his son Eddie are new in town. Eddie brings a robot to school with him the SS-10K. Now there are two robots at school. E, the robot built by Sammy's mother, is going to school for Sammy's sister Maddie. Maddie needs E because she can't leave the house due to an autoimmune issue. She can be in class and interact with the kids and teachers through E. Once the new robot comes something goes wrong and E goes wild causing the school to remove him. Sammy's mother has trouble trying to fix E and Maddie is back to being alone at home without school. None of this sits well with Sammy. He suspects trouble was caused by the new robot and he wants to get to the bottom of it. Sammy finds out his mother and Dr. Ingalls knew each other in college. They did not get along and were competitors. His mother says Dr. Ingalls, who she called Icky, didn't play fair. Sammy gets all the robots in the house to help him as he tries to show everyone that Dr. Ingalls set E up and get his sister back in school.

Throughout this book we follow the journeys of Sam and E. E is a robot Sams mom created at her job as head of robotics at Notre Dame. E is used as a substitute student for Sams sister who can not go to school do to a medical condition. As the book progresses the two get into many crazy adventures through the way. The main conflict is another substitute student is competing at Sams school to take over his moms job. They finally resolve the conflict through a robot football game were E and his team win and expose the other substitute student (SS-10K) for being a fruad. The thing I like most about this book is the authors tendency to add humor and conflict in the same page. He also leaves us with a message to always do the best you can do and never give up. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone who wants an easy read to relax to and laugh.

I thought it was an interesting story of how a robot could be a student. The reason why there was a robot student was because the daughter in a family, named Maddie, has a health condition that makes her get really sick easily by just being around other people if they give off germs or sneeze. Maddie would sometimes have a hard time because sometimes the robot named E that would go to school with her would malfunction. This meant that Maddie couldn't learn until E was fixed again. So the main story is how Maddie learns in school without going to school and what her brother, Sammy, her mother and her father do to help her. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy James Patterson books and the humor genre.

The title says it all, so no description is necessary. What I'll say is I slipped back into my childhood over this book. How cool would it be to be living with robots? Ones that would clean your room. Others that would talk to you or chase off bullies. But a robot to call 'bro-bot' E, well that's the coolest.

When something goes wrong, Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez must figure out E's malfunction so he won't be upstaged by the new robot on the block.

Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez is annoyed when another kid, Eddie Ingalls, brings a big and sleeker robot to school. Named SS-10K, he is sent in to pose for Eddie's brother, who had been in an incident. But is he really real? It's a story of corruption, detective work, and chaos as Sammy works with E to determine if this machine is truly legitimate. Only E gets his motherboard corrupted as well! Crazy tale for kids that like robots and chaotic situations.

This was a really good sequel. The mysteries continue. This book includes another robot and antagonists for both Sammy and E. This is a story where life gets in the way and parents might have life get in the way. Sammy steps up in this story to help his mom in the end. Go E! Great story. On to book 3

Doesn't every kid dream of having robots do their chores for them?!? Sammy's mom is an inventor so they have loads of robots around the house including a Substitute Student robot for his little sister who can't go to school become of her compromised immunity. But chaos ensues when a new robot shows up in town.

Note: If I was a 4th-7th grade boy I probably would have given this 5-stars.

This book is just another dumb James Patterson same-as-all-the rest, except for the sick sister. I am so happy to have this series as my kids who have a chronically sick sibling can really relate. I love how the illness is presented alongside the story as totally normal.

The book had two good messages, don't get rid of your best friend or bro, and don't judge others. It is a passionate book because, a boy named Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez was trying to rebuild his bro bot from breaking apart.

2nd one of these we have read at bedtime. I think it’s a bit obvious, but my boys never seem to see the twists coming 😂 and they loved it 🤷🏼‍♀️ so combined score of four stars (they would give it 5).
