I thought this was going to just move the story along until the next book but a lot happens in this one. Some more has been revealed about Lilith and more lives are in danger. This has been a great series.

Heartbreaking, Horribly BEAUTIFUL,Amazing, Riveting and Fantastic story!!! ^_^

+Sacrifice’ by Jennifer Quintenz is the third in the young adult Daughters of Lilith Series and it is every bit as good as the previous books. Quintenz knows how to hold a reader and keep them turning the pages to find out what will happen next. It’s a hard book to put down.

+All the characters you fell in love, or hate, with in INCUBUS and THRALL are back for more struggles with life in a world threatened, needing saving, by followers of Lilith and protected by The Guard.

+Emotion was what made this book a great one for me. There were moments when I was touched and I don't want to say too much about it because I will end up telling all the juicy parts. But I will say I just wanted to pull aside Karayan and give her one long, uncomfortable hug. That girl could use it whether she wants it or not.

+I enjoyed the fact the people in this series were getting in touch with who they really were and what they were willing to do for the survival of others. That meant big changes for some of them. The meek became strong, and the frozen became thawed. It was truly interesting to see softer sides to some of the sharp edged people *cough*Amber*cough.*

+One of the best things in this book I can't even openly reveal in this review. Just know my thoughts were yelling, Lucas, what have you done?! Why would you be so stupid? Why why why. and then a how? I can't attach what I want to ask for fear of blowing the story for everyone but you will all certainly agree that the mystery pool of mysteries just got deeper.

+I love the premise of this whole series, and I can't wait to find out what happens next! I hope Braedyn gets to meet her mother, or if she has been killed, she gets to find out more about her and her history! Also I hope she "grows" into her powers more. I feel like she is much more powerful than even you have explained in the books yet, and I would love to see her tap into that, and also unleash some of that during a fight. It seems like she is seriously gifted since she can seem to read minds at times like Ais did (which I don't think she's told anybody about), she can bend time, she was able to copy Seth's work at shielding someone's dreams (although I still fear Seth will know how to break it since he created it), and I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but I just feel she has this amazing power she has not yet tapped yet! I am sick of seeing little girls with power who never fully unleash it. Sure I get she doesn't want to give into the demon side of herself, but I think she can tap into at least some of it to find out how to use it for good and not evil.

+I loved this book, everything about it was awesome. This book is an emotional roller coaster. Finding an author that actually makes the reader feel something anymore is such a rarity. Usually these are longer, but I don't even have words. It was perfect, I truly hope there is more to come. Lucas and Braedyns relationship takes a whole new spin in this book.

+This series has the vitality that makes the characters and the world they inhabit as real as our own. There’s plenty of action, but there’s also plenty of character development and growth that together deliver a very satisfying whole. The plot is gripping and often surprising, and the characters face moral dilemmas and terrible challenges that don’t always turn out well. Even so, the author manages to end the book with a slither of hope.

+Ms.Quintenz doesn't disappoint with this third novel in the series. Reading it is like ingesting the next course in the best meal you've ever eaten. She leaves you satisfied, BUT wanting MORE at the same time.

+AND I WANT MORE!!!!!!!!!! Oh puh-lease Ms. Quintenz! heehee..
There's more right? 5 solid stars!

:)

+HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

I would like to thank the author, Jennifer Quinletz and The Cover Contessa, for the opportunity to read and review this book for free. The fact that I received it for free in no way influences this review.

If you haven't yet read the first books in this series, STOP HERE and go read them first. This series builds each book upon the foundation of the prior book, which means that this review contains spoilers for the rest of the series.

Just when Braedyn Murphy thought she understood the danger descending on her little town of Puerto Escondido, a new threat arrives. A cult devoted to Lilith has taken up residence in town, led by a charismatic old woman with more than one secret. When Cassie gets tangled up in the mystery, Braedyn realizes her two worlds are colliding. But if she’s going to stop Lilith and her Daughters from reclaiming this earth, Braedyn might not be able to protect her friends.

As her duties to the Guard become more difficult, Braedyn turns to Lucas for solace. They begin to wonder if now is the time to claim their one night together—knowing that one night is all they may ever have.

Darker forces have their own plans for Braedyn and the Guard. No one ever told Braedyn this battle would be easy—but how much can one girl be asked to sacrifice in order to save the world?

The third book in this compelling series does not fail to deliver. Be prepared to run the entire gamut of emotions, from end of the world lows to mind boggling highs, as well as everything in between.

Cassie takes on a much more active role in this book, joining Royal as a major player. With a local cult of Lilith in town, Cassie becomes the only viable candidate for infiltrating the group and reporting what she learns back to the Guard. It is really nice to see Cassie finally really step on the road to recovery from what Parker did to her. In taking steps to reclaim her life Cassie discovers an inner core of strength she never knew she possessed, which serves her well in both her adventures and misadventures. Thankfully for Braedyn, Cassie is willing to step back into her role as best friend; however she and Royal truly cemented their friendship over the events of the previous books, which does have an impact on Braedyn and her life.

Seth returns and continues to plague Braedyn and the Guard. The traitor in the Guard's midst is exposed, but too late to stop some serious damage from happening, leaving everyone reeling from the horrid results of their betrayal from within. And just when Braedyn thinks miracles can happen - that she and Amber might actually become tentative friends, her whole world gets knocked askew. Again.

This book is filled with unrequited love, naked pain, yearning for the forbidden - and this time Braedyn and Lucas aren't the only two caught in that trap. For those Lilitu raised as human and electing to live & fight on the side of humanity, life and love are a torment. All around them they see what they can't have - they can't kiss the one they love, let alone take the physical relationship to its conclusion, for to do so would mean destroying the one they love.

While searching for answers on how to defeat Lilith and preventing her return Braedyn makes an enemy of a specific Lilitu. Unfortunately she moves on, forgetting about the threat the other Lilitu made, and now not only does she have to pay the price, but yet another person she loves must suffer right along with her.

In the end things are not what they were. How Braedyn and the others will deal with the fallout and move forward is anyone's guess. . . What more can Braedyn lose before going too far and also losing her chance to become human? Or has she already done too much harm, even while trying to help? Is it too late for Braedyn? Too late for the Guard? Have the Lilitu already won, and they just don't know it yet? All these questions and more are rattling around inside Braedyn's head, and odds are, she isn't the only one wondering.

Same problem as the last - the Guard is filled with some of the most horrible human beings the race has to offer. It only got worse in this one... exponentially worse.

There has to be repercussions for the assholes, or the "good guys" don't look like good guys anymore. Which is where I'm at. I'm officially rooting for the Lilitu, and just hoping the couple main characters I like survive.

Sacrifice is third book in the Daughters of Lilith series and is another electrifying installment by Jennifer Quintenz. Harrowing, and beyond exciting, Sacrifices races all the way to a killer ending that will change the very course of the series forever with its developments and heart breaking losses.

I must admit; heading into Sacrifice, I was under the belief that it was the final installment in the series, but after that incredible ending, there is no way Sacrifice marks the end of this series. No way! Jennifer Quintenz needs to write another book. Preferably as soon as possible, as Sacrifice will leave readers no doubt dying to dive into the next chapter of the series.

Picking up not far from where the last book, Incubus, left off, Braedyn and the Guard members are still reeling from the betrayal they suffered and opening of the Seal by someone they trusted and believed to be on their side. With the Seal open and needed to be guarded 24/7, the Guard also find themselves facing a new danger as a group of misguided young women are led by a charismatic woman into devotion to Lilith. Knowing these women are being tricked into worshipping Daughters of Lilith, Braedyn and her friends set out to infiltrate the cult and put a stop to their plans, with deadly consequences…..

Although I’ve previously mentioned it, I’ll say it again; Sacrifice was a really exciting book. There was so much going on, and even though it takes course over a manner of months, the book progressed swiftly and easily managed to keep me entertained. Quintenz’s writing is solid, but she manages to entice her reader with her characters who battle literal, and inner demons, throughout the series.

Sacrifice will really tug on your heart strings with the Lilith Karayan becoming a surprising ally in the story. Here is someone I honestly thought to be evil, but Quintenz shows her readers another side to Karayan who becomes an actual friend to Braedyn; someone who just wants to be loved and find her place.

Jennifer Quintenz writes some shocking revelations that see Braedyn and Lucas face a massive hardship in their relationship. It’s such a surprising development that left me gutted for them. The devastation comes through loud and clear and regardless who is at fault, you can’t help but feel their pain.

There is some really losses in Sacrifice, with the Guard losing some key members. A character I really liked and had lots of hope for loses their life in a massive battle against Seth and his minions as Quintenz leads the story towards a jaw-dropping finale.

Honestly, I have no idea what Jennifer Quintenz has planned next, but surely this isn’t how the story ends. Although I’m eagerly searching Goodreads for an update on the next possible book, Quintenz has me still lost in Braedyn’s world
2 / 2
and quite ravenous for another installment. Superb ending—please give me more!

Okay, this book took me longer but it's only because life got in the way and I lost interest in my personal hobbies for a minute.

I'm sooo glad I finished this book but at the same time I was hoping it was the last. I'm kind of like, get to the end already because it's taking too long! The ending of book 3 did make me want to immediately order book 4 though so that's a plus. Either way, the author does an amazing job at playing on the reader's feels with this one. Spoiler alert, you will cry because many, many people die. AND YOU FEEL THEIR DEATHS!

So, should you want to, I would recommend to continue on into the series. The biggest war is about to start and the only protection against these freaking demons is pretty much nothing. I'm really reading this though to see how powerful Braedyn becomes because she's such a badass!

Happy Reading!

From planned ecstasy to horror in the matter of a few pages, the opening of book three doesn't fail to excite. As has been the trend throughout, action is never very far from the beginning of a page. Only three mere weeks have passed since the manipulation of Braedyn and her strongest wish had lead to the opening of the seal. In that time the denizens of the underworld seem to have developed a plan; an early confrontation between demons leaving Braedyn and the Guard dazzled. Once again it appears the lilitu have the upper hand.

Old wounds still raw, Karayan's presence is both a reminder and a balm, to the fact that the Guard has a long memory and most a reluctance to forgive. As Karayan begins to join Braedyn in her training, Braedyn's grateful for the solidarity having another lilitu brings. Karayan herself struggles with the outcast sentiments that pushed her away from the guard and Thane all those years ago. Spotters, given their unique situations that lead to their abilities, offering resistance and oppression that would make even the grizzled Thane proud.

Time and honesty has allowed the cohesion of the school friends to begin to repair. Royal's emotional manipulation and burgeoning love that he was developing toward Seth, now hides a greater hurt than perhaps what Cassie experienced, leaving the group concerned for his prognosis. As a hiatus in overt attacks lags on, its the covert plans of Lilith's grandchildren which draw the greatest concern.

Seth it seems still firmly has sights on making Royal pay a hefty price for the perceived traitor status of Braedyn. Royal's nightmares become fertile ground for Seth to feed from, leaving Braedyn desperate to find a solution. Braedyn's investigation via the dreamscape reveals a continuance of notes confirming her worst fears, as were similarly seen throughout Incubus.

The appearance of a cult like following of a group calling themselves the daughters of Lilith, reveals itself as a manifestation of contrary facts about who the daughters really were. With resources being short, getting someone who won't be recognised into their ranks, falls upon Cassie. Whilst this offers Cass the chance to contribute, thereby developing confidence hitherto unseen in her, the potential risks if she's revealed adding to the unmitigated stress Braedyn faces.

The ongoing logistic lack of Guard, and especially spotter numbers, paves the way for a position to be filled by none other than Amber; spotters being rare, her abilities come to the attention of the Guard. Despite the strained and volatile relationship she shares with Braedyn and her friends, unexpected issues in Amber's personal life draw on Braedyn's compassionate conscience, enough for her to look past their history.

As more of Braedyn's friends and schoolmates become more directly involved in the war, questions arise regarding who may be hurt further due to their involvement in the war. Logically speaking, innocents are hurt regardless, some I'm sure realising that perhaps it would be better to be at least contributing if they're at risk anyway. Events begin to drag endlessly on Braedyn's psyche, leaving her feeling there's no place of escape. Even her once fantastical and random dreams fall victim, furthering the psychological harm caused by her origins as a lilitu.

The use of relationships near and afar, from one to six (and more) degrees of separation, that bring the story to light, a powerful tool used by Jennifer in creating empathy in the reader. The passing of time, filled with both mundane, ongoing normalcy and small lightbulb moments of realisation, work well to create anxiety and suspense. Technical skills and abilities shine through, a symbiosis created between the range of emotions described by Braedyn's narrative and those experienced by the reader. The psychology of the story knitting well with that of the reader.

With the chances of armageddon increasing, an end of days, Sacrifice begins to have dual meaning. In the forefront of the story there's the sacrifices past and present that have been made by the plethora of characteres directly related to the plot. And in the background there's the revealed knowledge that for the intentions of Lilith's denizens to be successful, a sacrifice will be instrumental.

With a finale to rival the likes of blockbuster Hollywood movies and any number of bestsellers I won't dishonour by mentioning, the closing few chapters of Sacrifice are amongst the best I've ever encountered. Nail biting, sweaty palmed, butterflies in the stomach, thrill and tension. With a head count in the many and action paragraph after paragraph, Jennifer drowns readers in the experiences as their encounted through Braedyn's eyes. Those left standing are those left mourning, and as much as you know what took place is devastating, the anticipation toward book four, Guardian, is truly immeasurable. Given the mounting enjoyment of having read Thrall, Incubus and Sacrifice, Jennifer has left her audience expecting that the sky's the limit.

Is it weird to say that I vastly enjoy books about demons? I think it is. Sort of. Oh well...

This book was CA-RAH-HAZY. There was so much going on and I was all like “Woah!” and “Nuh-huh” and “Oh God, that didn’t just happen!!!”

This is the third book in a series, so if you haven’t read books one and two, Thrall and Incubus, you probably don’t want to read this review. There won’t be any plot spoilers, so if you want to stick around you can, but you might be a little confused.

Braedyn Murphy is a very kickass character. I think I’ve established that in my previous reviews of the series (To view them go here and/or here.). She may not make the smartest choices sometimes (What teenage half-demon does nowadays?), but she can fight like hell to rectify her wrongs. She did seem to grow up a lot in this book and I really enjoyed her character development.

There was a lot more interaction with some of the side characters in this book. Karayan, Cassie, and Royal were all featured quite heavily. And what’s great is that they weren’t always doing stuff that revolved around Lilitu. Quintenz had her characters studying for finals and eating food like regular human beings. That made me happy. It seems like sometimes authors forget their characters are people and that they need to take a break from all of the potential angst in a YA novel. The only bad thing about the side characters showing up more was that Lucas was in the book quite a bit less. I was kind of disappointed about that. Okay, I was very disappointed. But then…

THAT ENDING! OMG! I couldn’t believe Quintenz went there. But she did. And. I. Loved. It. I had no idea this book wasn’t the last one in the series. I was hoping for things to be all wrapped up. Little did I know that Braedyn and the gang are going to be together for at least two more books. So yeah, the plot of this book was insane and the ending had me freaking out. It totally made up for the small lull I had towards the middle of the story.

So, if you’re looking for a series that has a girl with weapons—who knows how to use them—and some evil ancient soul-sucking demons, read this series! Or, if you stopped after book one or two and haven’t gotten ahold of this book yet, GO GET IT!

4/5 stars

P.S. Is it time for book #4’s release date yet?

*Note: I received a copy of this book to review from the author. This in no way altered my opinion/review.

I fell in love with this series the first time I picked it up. I have been lucky enough to be given each book by the author in exchange for a review, and everytime she emails with the offer of the next book I literally squeal with excitement. There is no question as to whether or not I will accept - it's a straight up yes.

So I got sent this book and I joined it to the bottom of my rather long review pile (I haven't been accepting review requests for that reason but I had to take this one) I figured I would read the otehr books and be reading this one in a couple of months, Jennifer was fine with the wait so no pressure, but once I had it in my possession I couldn't wait. I tried to read one of my other books but couldn't focus - I had to dive into this one.

I haven't had as much time to read lately so any time I do get is absorbed as I immerse myself in a book and this one I dived in head first.

Although it has been quite a while since I read book 1 and 2 this is a story that has stayed with me, I remembered who everyone was and what was going on. This is actually quite rare for me with the amount of books I read, but this one came straight back and I had no problem being thrown back into the action. Something about Jennifer's writing just resonates in my mind and pulls me in.

This book has a perfect mix for me - a great love story, some kick-ass action and fight scenes, then the other side of her life - the 'normal' side of school and dealing with 'popular' girls. Everything is presented in a way that you know it is relevant, everything adds together to make an awesome plot.

Braedyn is a great character - full of self doubt, but also willing to step up and fight for what she wants, she is a very 'human' character in that you can relate to a lot of her situation (obviously not the whole demon/lilitu aspect but the rest is right there!)

I love that Royal and Cassie are included more in the story, I enjoyed seeing them come to terms with the world of magic and Lilitu and see what they could bring to Braedyn's side. Cassie in particular is a great character.

I also liked the hints of confrontation and the possibility of a traitor, may sound cliche but it was actually done really well.

To me this is a fresh, unique fantasy series, different from most of the others I have read and I love it. Totally gripping, just can't get enough sort of reading. I hope there is more to come in this series because I want more!

I expected more

I was waiting for this book for a while and maybe that's why I'm so disappointed in it. As a reader you have certain wants and expectations in a series. The book started out good. The first twenty percent was a good read. Then the story bottomed out and never really recovers. The end of book 2 was pretty significant. Book 3 turns it into nothing. The broken seal really has no impact in this book. Oh there is some but nothing that couldn't be tweaked to happen anyway in some other fashion.

The author spends a lot of pages with Braedyn at school. it's a pointless addition to the book. it's boring and doesn't affect anything in the story. From 20%to 85% the story is boring. There is enough going on where I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. It never did.

The Guard in this book is a joke. in book 1 they were a private military group. Now they are simply incompetent. They don't do anything useful in this book. How they held back the Lilitu until now is mind boggling.

Another issue I had is this book is filled with stupid hatred. Okay I get it that some guard have issues with Lilitu. There is one part where a guard is going to die. Another guard could save them but they hate Braedyn so much it's okay to let their fellow soldier die to kill her. The book has way to much of that. Why Braedyn puts up with it is beyond me.

The build up to the end was pretty good. There was action and excitement. What really bothered me was there is no final confrontation. Braedyn gets there and the Villain runs away. You expect another confrontation with the way the author builds it but nothing happened. I this book we get no answers. Braedyn doesn't really appear any stronger. in fact more than once she gets bested by humans. She goes from strong to weak with no explanation way too often. Feels like a sloppy writing shortcut.

I really loved this although there were things that bothered me about this that seemed rather obvious. The whole book Braedyn was in people's heads and sending messages, except when her dad went to the caves. Instead she tried to race there to tell him instead of just sending him a message? She sent one to Royal, and she sent one to Cassie. I tried to play it off like she was stressed thinking about it, but for some reason it's been really bothering me. Also Lucas' infidelity, albeit by mistake, really bothers me and how it was kind of glossed over...? I know there were bigger fish to fry at that point, but I really hope it is addressed more going forward. I guess those were two of my biggest pet peeves, since I can't remember the others.

But overall I found the book to be amazing, I love the premise of this whole series, and I can't wait to find out what happens next! It seems like she is seriously gifted since she can seem to read minds at times like Ais did (which I don't think she's told anybody about), she can bend time, she was able to copy Seth's work at shielding someone's dreams (although I still fear Seth will know how to break it since he created it...), and I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but I just feel she has this amazing power she has not yet tapped yet! I am sick of seeing little girls with power who never fully unleash it. Sure I get she doesn't want to give into the demon side of herself, but I think she can tap into at least some of it to find out how to use it for good and not evil...

This review and more on So Bookalicious

Sacrifice, the third book in the Daughters of Lilith series is as good as the other. I first fell in love with this series when I read the first book. Quintenz knows how to caption the attention of her readers. Book after book she keeps surprising you with all the plot twists she has in stall for your.

This book is perfect for me, it’s a great love story, there are some kick-ass fight scenes and there is still some normality added to it. Everything is relevant in this book, nothing is there just to fill up the pages in between. Throughout the books everything adds up and together it makes an awesome plot.

I can never express enough how great Braedyn is, I really like her as a character. She has some insecurities, like every teenager, but she’s willing to step up and fight for what she wants. It’s easy to relate to her, she has to make some tough choices throughout the book. And clearly we will never be in the same situation but you can easily make the comparison with you own life.
Royal’s and Cassie’s part in this book was bigger again, I missed them a bit during the previous book. I loved to see how they were a part of the fight against the Lilith, especially Cassie.

There were some heart wrenching moments in this book. So much did happen that
I had never expected. And I can’t imagine how it will affect the characters and the storyline of future books.

Sacrifice is a unique fantasy book. It’s different than a lot of books I have read so far and I love it. The world of the Lilith captures your attention and it won’t let you go until the ending. I hope that more books will come, I believe there will, and hopefully we won’t have to wait too long. I would recommend this book for anyone who loves YA urban fantasy.

I received a copy of this from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third time I've gotten a book from Jennifer (and they're all conveniently in the same series). When she offered me this book, I jumped at the chance. I couldn't wait to get started on it.

And for good reason. This book was full of unexpected twists and turns as well as an entertaining plot, powerful scenes of love, sacrifice, and hatred, and characters who are growing up before my eyes.

Braedyn has to put up with a lot of bias against her, and it's kind of cool to see how she deals with it. She can't control that she's who she is, and yet so many dislike her for that reason alone. It's something I think everyone deals with at one point or another, which makes her so relatable in those moments.

I liked that we are at the point where we know so many characters we can have 4-5 different subplots going on with them. It makes it feel more like we're part of a family or a group of friends and we're just following their lives all at once.

I should note that when I started this book, I thought it was the last in a trilogy. I was wrong. I was so, so wrong. And that was a little disappointing and exciting at the same time. I figured out I was wrong when I realized how much still needed to be wrapped up with only 4% left in my book. There was absolutely no way it was going to happen.

There is so much that happens in this book that I want to share, but I just can't. This book (and series) is just so moving. Braedyn is put in impossible positions and she still manages to come out ahead. I can't wait to get word on when the next book comes out.

side of the sons of Adam in an age-old battle that, unknown by most humans, has been raging since the

beginning of human history. She loves a boy that she cannot have without risk of draining his life-force,

and this adds a bittersweet touch to a powerful story.

This series has the vitality that makes the characters and the world they inhabit as real as our own.

There’s plenty of action, but there’s also plenty of character development and growth that together

deliver a very satisfying whole. The plot is gripping and often surprising, and the characters face moral

dilemmas and terrible challenges that don’t always turn out well. Even so, the author manages to end

the book with a slither of hope.

On top of this, the author writes well and handles her material skilfully. Very highly recommended for all

lovers of YA urban fantasy. You won’t get better than this in this genre. 5 stars.

Braedyn battles once again to stop the apocalypse and prevent the terrible demon Lilitu from breaking through the ancient barrier into our world. This book in the series follows the Guard's preparations for Seth the Incubus' next attempt to free Lilith from the underworld. Friendships are forged, tested, and destroyed while the teens must wrestle with decisions that may save the world...or not. Can Braedyn save Luke, Cassie, and Royal, her vulnerable human friends, from the demons' attacks? Will she manage a friendship with Amber, who once tried to have her boyfriend killed? Can they discover the enemy's plans in time to stop their next move?
This book definitely served as a transitional part of the series, though an important one, going deeper into the existing characters and their struggles. The mission didn't change and the stakes didn't improve. Braedyn didn't save the world, but she hasn't lost it yet either. The tension keeps building and it's getting really heavy! I liked learning more about her relationship with Luke and the perils of their love. The sacrifices the two make mean so much more when we share their struggles with them. We hate the villain, Seth, more too.
Reviewing books can sometimes highlight the vast difference between a well-written book and the rest. Jennifer definitely writes a good book! Only now I have to wait for the next in the series…

'Sacrifice’ by Jennifer Quintenz is the third in the young adult Daughters of Lilith Series and it is every bit as good as the previous books. Quintenz knows how to hold a reader and keep them turning the pages to find out what will happen next. It’s a hard book to put down.

In Incubus, evil incubus Seth succeeded in opening the Seal between the human and Lilitu worlds. Sacrifice begins two weeks later, where we find Braedyn Murphy and the rest of the Guard watching the Seal 24/7. As if things weren’t bad enough, a mysterious new cult has shown up in town, and claimed Lilith as a figurehead for their feminist cause. But are they really a cause for good, or something more sinister?

How would I describe this third installment? In a word: awesome. Seth is a spectacular villain, the kind you love to hate, but also love to read about. Cassie is given a much bigger role when she volunteers to go undercover and spy on the cult, and the interactions between Braedyn and Karayan really adds texture to the latter’s character. Sacrifice has just the right amount of drama and romantic tension to keep the pace flying, with a dreadful climax that will have you glad that there’s a fourth book in the works. Recommended for Ages 16-Up.

Let me just start of by saying I'm so mad, so freaking mad that there is no up to date info anywhere about the 4th book!!

Just like the 2 before it, I loved this book, and flew through it in a couple of hours (I read all 3 books in 2 days), I'm giving this book 4 stars because of how we are left hanging with no resolve for a 4th book.

As with the others its fast paced and full of action, a quick page turner, i was 'saddened' by the loss of one of the main cast and didnt think that they needed to die considering so many of them was killed anyway

Not much else really to say bar another enjoyable read from Jennifer Quintenz

Oh my gosh. The ENDING. I was so scared to read the ending. In fact, I put the book down and waited for ten minutes before deciding to read the end. I would be so distraught if Lucas had become a thrall. I am SO RELIEVED. Royal and Cassie survived, AND there's a fourth book! YES! A dream come true.

There's so many lose ends need to be tied up; Braedyn's mother. I think she's going to be some really powerful Lilitu. WHAT IF SHE'S SOMEHOW LILITH? No, I don't think so.

I CANNOT wait for the fourth book.

JUST.

CAN'T.

I really enjoyed this book! Yay! After finding the second book so disappointing (and I am in the minority here), I didn’t have high hopes for this one.

But dayyuuumm! Braedyn is far more confident and self aware. She’s wiser and more relatable in this book. I think the part where she enters Elyia’s dream is fan-fucking-tastic.
The only reason I stayed with this series is that I love the author’s writing style, and it only got better in this book.

Now I’m hooked, and I WANT THE NEXT ONE NOW!

I read all three books in the series and why they all had good and bad points my biggest issue was with SACRIFICE. There was no finality in the ending but at the same time it felt like this was it. I have so many questions!!

My heart breaks for Braedyn. She is trying so hard, and she constantly has to keep proving herself to her"team"on top of everything else.

It was decent, am frustrated that this series isn't complete and there is no date for book 4.

Ok

I didn't like this book as much as the others. I still will read on but with everything being doom +gloom it is depressing.
I first book was the best now just dragging on. Cc
