Adam Light resides in northeast Florida with his beautiful wife and daughter, and their two fur sons, Walker and Aspen.

For years, he's peeked out at you from your slightly open closet door, or grasped at the little toes you carelessly left uncovered. His stories have been published in horror anthologies such as Doorbells at Dusk, the Bad Apples: Halloween Horror series, and Dead Roses: Five Dark Tales of Twisted Love, to name a few.

Now, you can find all of his work under one gorgeous cover in Dreams for the Dying, the definitive collection of Adam Light's tantalizing tales. Be sure to pick it up now, before it's too late.

I'm happy that you are getting into Stephen King's huge canon of incredible books. I started reading him when I was twelve. I was at the library with my mom, perusing the new titles, and my eyes lit on the enticing cover of Eyes of the Dragon, and I knew I just had to read it.
And read it I did. At least three times.
I have read all of his books with the exception of Gerald's Game. I plan to read it this year though.
As for the remainder of my top five, wow... that's a tough assignment if I ever had one! I have loved most of his books, and have actually been rereading them this year, which is the reason you saw a new review of Pet Sematary from me recently.

So, here is my current top 5:

The Shining
The Stand
It
Salem's Lot
Pet Sematary

Although anything by King is bound to make you happy, those five are, in my opinion, his best. Thanks, and I hope that helps. Have a good one!

I logged in one day and this was already installed. I swear I had nothing to do with it! You're right, though; for authors, aspiring authors and book lovers as a whole, this feature should be fun and informative.
The reason I enjoy writing so much, and I'm sure this is probably passe by this point, but it is simple. When I sit down in front of that laptop, desktop computer or even if I'm just scratching out notes on a legal pad with a number 2 pencil, that's when I get to be free from the shackles of reality. I get to dive into the world inhabited by my characters, my ideas and an endless well of possibilities. Same reason I love reading books!
I have only one goal as a writer, and that is to rule the world!(less)

"I actually didn't expect much from this book. I was negatively biased by its Goodreads rating. I knew it wasn't a popular book right away too (only 18 reviews! (about to be 19 with mine)).

I was surprised by the content. I certainly didn't think the " Read more of this review »

That's great. In my area, there are precious few book stores. We have more luck at thrift shops.

Angie I love lots of the books you've managed to pick up, our local charity shops aren't that good but the book clearance shops are really good. I used to read books with my kids when they were young and they were always surrounded by books. It's turned them into avid readers as adults.
