Trzeba przyznać - książka jest dobra. Mam słabość do ironicznego poczucia humoru, od którego opowieść aż kipi. Świetna narracja, sprytne sztuczki służące podtrzymywaniu napięcia i ciekawe rozwiązania sytuacyjne - to tygryski lubią najbardziej. Nieprawdą jest jednak, że książka jest idealna. Osoby, które nie gustują w ironii, mogą odczuć ogromną irytację. Niemal wszystkie kluczowe momenty są przerywane przez drwiących sobie bohaterów, którzy muszą wtrącić swoje trzy grosze. :) Mnie to akurat bardzo odpowiadało, potem zaczęło być jednak trochę uciążliwe. Poza tym genealogiczne zagmatwanie historii na sam koniec. Raz - okej. Ale nie więcej, błagam. Pomimo tego, że całość była zrozumiała, ten wątek powoduje uczucie przesytu. Dalej - w chwili, gdy zmienia się narracja, tłumacz pomylił się raz czy dwa w odmianie czasowników. I na koniec - koniec. :) A tak dokładniej: zakończenie. Powiem szczerze, jeśli czytacie dużo książek, to tu na samiusieńkim finiszu jest bardzo przewidywalnie. Właściwie ogólnego charakteru zakończenia można się domyślić już na samym początku. Dobry, sprawdzony chwyt literacki... Może nie powinnam narzekać, ale można było jeszcze w jakiś sposób spróbować zaskoczyć czytelnika. :) Podsumowując - jeśli lubisz ironię i nie masz arlekinofobii (clowny odgrywają tu dużą rolę), to pozycja jest warta uwagi.

Ciekawa książka... trochę czarna komedia, trochę horror, thriller... ciężko określić jednoznacznie gatunek. Zupełnie absurdalne sceny przeplatają się ze śmiertelnie poważnymi sytuacjami, a wszystko okraszone ogromną dozą pozytywnej energii głównych bohaterów. Gdyby nie fakt, że większość wydarzeń w książce było przewidywalne i zawsze wcześniej wiedziałem co się stanie byłoby 5 gwiazdek, ale i tak mogę spokojnie polecić.
