About the author

Tsugumi Ōba (Profile in Japanese: 大場 つぐみ), born in Tokyo, Japan, is a writer best known for the manga Death Note. His/her real identity is a closely guarded secret. As stated by the profile placed at the beginning of each Death Note manga, Ōba collects teacups and develops manga plots while holding his knees on a chair, similar to a habit of L, one of the main characters of the series.

There is speculation that Tsugumi Ōba is a pen name and that he is really Hiroshi Gamō. Pointing out that in Bakuman the main character's uncle was a one-hit wonder manga artist who worked on a gag super hero manga, very similar to Gamō and Tottemo! Luckyman in all aspects. Also that the storyboards drawn by Ōba greatly resemble Tottemo! Luckyman in style.

خیلی هیجانش بیشتر بود، جاهایی بود که تند تند ورق می‌زدم تا ببینم چی میشه و تجربه‌ی خیلی جالبیه.
آرت چپتر آخر فوق‌العاده بود، به این صورت که من هم می‌خواستم ببینم که چی میشه در ادامه ولی هی توقف می‌کردم و لذت می‌بردم از فضاسازی و جزئیات و پرسپکتیو و ..


اون درگیری‌های لایت با خودش که فکر می‌کرد شاید کیرا بوده جای تفکر داشت، یک نوع بحران شخصیتی که آیا ممکنه که در شرایطی، اقدامات شرورانه‌ای انجام بدهم؟ یا انجام داده باشم؟
و اون پیروی و عشق احمقانه میسا به لایت که فکر کنم منجر به مرگش بشه،اینجا خیلی پررنگ تر بود چون با کمی فکر می‌تونست جلوی این زنجیره رو بگیره.
ال هم که ساده‌انگارانه سیرتاپیاز رو کف دست لایت گذاشت و راجع‌به کیرای دوم حیلی محتاتانه عمل کرد و همین باعث شده که "هنوز" شیوه کشتن رو کشف نکرده.
البته من هنوز نفهمیدم که در وهله‌ی نخست چرا پلیس اینطور وحشیانه دنبال کسی افتاد که افراد قاتل و متجاوز رو می‌کشت؟
خب اون‌ها به‌وسیله قوانین و عدم پیروی از آن، به زندان افتادند؛ احتمالا به‌خاطر فرهنگ ژاپن و ارزش نهادن به‌جان هر انسان هست که ذهن خاورمیانه‌ای من یکم در درکش دچار کلنجاره... متاسفانه.


بازم میشه نوشت ولی فکر کنم بس باشه چون گمان نمی‌کنم که ریویوی مانگا به فارسی خیلی خوانده شود وقتیکه ترجمه‌ی فارسی نداره و خودم به انگلیسی می‌خونم.
