This is the best cookbook ever! My parents for it for me when I was two and I still use it now I'm 30.

Best cook book for kids. I’ve had this book since I was little and my love of cooking developed through these recipes. From simple sandwich making to full blown meals. I remember how proud I was when I was able to serve a meal for the family that I had cooked myself.

This book is superb. I was given it as a kid, aged about 10, and I learned a lot from it. There are lots of wonderful photos of ingredients and foods, and the instructions are generally very good. It's worth reading the recipes very carefully though - I horribly underestimated how long it would take to cook some of them!

My favourite recipes were the chocolate chip cookies (which I use to this day - almost 20 years later), the beef casserole (there's a slightly unusual ingredient that really makes it special) and the spicy chicken (a firm favourite with my family).

I recently acquired this book at a book give away. It was an impulse pick up that I thought I could use when my grandchildren visit. They are always asking to cook when they visit. I never anticipated such a comprehensive book with beautiful pictures. Some of the skills I do not have and have been wishing that I had a good tutorial for. I think I will use this even when they are not here.

If you know a budding young cook then this is the perfect book for them. (Or if you're like me just starting to cook it's great also). This book is filled with wonderful step-by step pictures of simple recipes on how to make bread, tarts, pasta, pizza etc. The pictures are clear and vibrant and instructions are easy for kids and parents to understand. A wonderful book!

I loved looking through this book as a child. Many of the first recipes I made by myself were from this book. It's very clear and fun to use, and the recipes are great.
