Die 5 Spiderwick Bände habe ich vor ein paar Jahren bereits als Hörbuch gehört. Da ich sie noch fürs Regal haben wollte, musste jetzt dieser tolle Sammelband her. Er ist wirklich superschön gestaltet. Auf fast jeder Seite gibt es Illustrationen und die Kapitelanfänge sind wunderschön gesetzt.
Als besonderen Anhang gibt es außerdem drei verlorene Kapitel, einige Skizzen mit Erklärungen vom Zeichner und was ich ganz toll fand: Der Zeichner hat ein paar befreundete Künstler gebeten die ein Bild zu den Spiderwick Chroniken in ihrem Zeichenstil zu malen. Da sind ein paar wirklich interessante Bilder dabei.

Definitiv eine Sammelausgabe für Liebhaber, die ihr Geld wert ist.
