The fifth edition is replete with reviews of the relevant research literature. The text is balanced and strives to present multiple theoretical perspectives and empirical bases when appropriate. The author is also not afraid to add an informed opinion when he deems the evidence strong enough. I use this book as part of my course in environmental psychology and sustainability.
