In this installment of the Shadow Council of Ravenholde, Faith, tri-bred bounty hunter and granddaughter to Carnell of the incubus demon of the Shadow Council, is trying to find the demons and whomever is behind the death of the of the gateway to the Underworld and how demons are getting through without approval. Faith’s succubus has come online and is causing problems. I love the dragon that works at Scorchwood Supernatural prison. He is just so cute around Faith, like a Uber giant puppy that can breathe fire and eat pretty much whatever he wants to. Greyson is just way cool how he can be a warlock that uses his powers to combine human technology and magic. Caton and Lucinda are still annoying to say the least. Faith can be extremely scary, and bloodthirsty, but I love that about her. Lol

I love the fact that she is friends with Eve and Nishi. I laughed myself silly when Nishi showed up complaining about Artemis. Too funny. Supernaturals are going missing and Faith has to try to find them before it is too late. I really liked the new character Kormack. Learning more about Faith in the mundane world was cool and sad. Liam, her son, will need the talk soon about the truth, which is something she really doesn’t want to do. Who would? I also liked the new cop character, Detective Bracken.

I adored this book and I can’t wait for the next one because this one was a cliffhanger!

In Faith's second book, she does her 'drive of shame' as she takes the phoenix demon to Scorchwood Prison and faces Greyson after their hot night together. She knows her succubus and her shifter sides are all in on the warlock, but she has just started to get over her husband's death and he is grieving his wife.

When a fae woman is kidnapped, Faith finds herself on the hunt for a rare empusa demon. It seems a similar rite that the phoenix demon was involved in is being performed by the empusa. This can't be good. Along the way, Faith will find out how much her grandfather really missed her while she was gone all those years. Not only him, but Cal and even Drin and Dran had kept their eyes on her as she started her career in bounty hunting. Darn, she really didn't need to know that, did she?

I loved the story and can't wait for the next one. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Our heroine's latest case leads her to a difficult choice. What is the right choice for her?

This is book five of the series and book two of this story arc. It does okay as a standalone, but it might be more enjoyable to start with the previous book to get all our heroine's background.

This is a paranormal romance story with witches, vampires, shifters and the whole lot. The story is well written and easy to read with a plot that nonetheless has a lot going on. The setting is well developed and quite intriguing, and I enjoyed the new viewpoint provided by this new story arc. The characters are equally well done. I like our heroine as she is tough and smart, just the way I like them. Add in a plot with plenty of mystery and intrigue and, of course, magic. Overall, this was another excellent book and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Sabre is beginning to connect with more of her demon heritage. it makes her a better fighter but leaves her vulnerable to some weaknesses related to her demon form. her heart and body struggle with her tribred nature and her connections to folks important to her.

the shifters and witches are still fighting over conditions that might allow for a new council chamber to be built on the nexus of ley lines on shifter lands. the witches seem ready to burn the council completely down with their petty politics

prejudices and power plays run deep

with the worlds survive the he@$ish incursions, or is the really next level purging about to begin?

I love Faith. Her snark, sass and down right love for weapons. What more could you ask for. She has resigned she will be working for her grandfather for the unforeseen future. I love how she takes one demon bounty at a time. Her ingenuity is phenomenal and exciting to read.
And her visits to the prison is fun to read especially when she is visited by Brutus.
The development between her and Greyson puts a smile in my face. I love the nickname he calls himself.
Of course she has help from Eve and Nishi. I love how it feels like family with their friendship.
Well written. Lots of steam to the budding romance. Riveting , edge of your seat action. A definite page turner. Well done.

She's at it again.
Proving everyone that she's not just a tribred with an important grandfather but a supernatural bounty hunter in her own right and a force to be reckoned with.
She's making powerful friends after a horrible childhood but still trying to protect her son while getting her business going in a town she never intended to return to.
She just seems to have the ability to attract people no matter what she does, whether she wants to or not.
I'm loving this series and enjoying the way that Saber goes about proving she's good at what she does and worth calling on.

I absolutely love this series!! This was an amazing read. This is the 5th book in the Shrouded Nation series. You'll want to read the books in order so you can enjoy the story as it unfolds. There is a huge cliffhanger, but that means you'll be coming back for more. It's well worth reading!! Tia Didmon and Brenda Trim have done a great job with this storyline and series. Saber is an unfiltered badass bounty hunter! They sure know how to pull you in with this story and keep you entertained from the start. I couldn't put it down! You will not be disappointed.

I really like this series and enjoy Saber and her antics. If you are her friend you can call her Faith, if not you call her Saber. She is a very strong woman and bounty hunter. There is a lot going on and more Demon trouble. I was worried that the authors were going to kill off one of my favourite characters. Thank goodness they didn’t. They did however get Greyson and Faith a little bit closer. My favourite of all the character is still Brutus the dragon. Cannot wait to see what Faith is going to feed him next.

The Adventure Continues!

Saber is moving to Ravenholde to work with her grandfather and the action starts immediately. Tangled in a surprise relationship that isn’t a relationship and Demons popping out of the portal that is supposed to be closed, she is immediately plunged into another adventure. Looking for an abducted fae, it’s obvious there is more going on than just a kidnapping. A great read with tons of non-stop action!.

A town filled with fae, demons, vampires, and more magical beings. A place where the 2 worlds collide and the main female character is at the center of trying to hold it all together. Action, romance, and mystery with a little bit of bloodshed thrown in. A satisfying ride indeed.

Saber is a tri breed and is helping her uncle in bounty hunting supernaturals who are dangerous and ancient artifacts. She is given a job to find a demon who is a flesh eater. She's on the job and it looks like it will turn deadly before she finds her objective. From one state to another she trails the demon and hopes to stop whatever plot they are hatching.
A fascinating and enthralling story that will snag and keep the reader riveted on the story of a woman who is part shifter, demon and human.

This is a really good continuation of the Shrouded Nation Series. I was captured from the first page, and had trouble putting it down. Written by two masters of the paranormal women's fiction genre, this book is not a stand alone. This picks up just where It Takes a Demon to Know One. The books must be read in order. This one is absolutely worth the one click.

This is the 5th book in this fabulous series and I loved it even more than the last one. I think I say that about every book these authors put out individually or as a cowrite. The story is fast-paced and full of surprises. Saber is a fantastic character and I love reading about someone closer to my own age who's still out there kicking ass. There is humor, suspense, drama, and adventure, and I can't wait to get my hands on the next one.

Book five and this series still has plenty going on to keep your attention! We jump straight into the action as fae are being kidnapped and demons run amok. It’s packed with adventure, danger and drama as our kick ass bounty hunter goes on the hunt in the dark shadows of Ravenholde. Love the storyline, loved the characters and I cannot wait to read the next book!

This is a good series. I could do with less pages that describe sexual encounters and usually skip them. The only complaint is the series tends to focus on one character then abruptly changes to another in a new book. When the series changes back, the original story doesn't start where it left off so there's some missing detail and the character stories are left open. There's a lot of interesting facets to this series and the characters are intriguing. Huge fan of fantasy, magic and supernatural idealism so I will continue reading. Just started book 6.
