Sinta is coming to town - but this time he’s the one receiving a gift.

An unexpected inheritance comes at the perfect time for Holly. Her on-again, off-again relationship is off for good, her Christmas plans have been canceled, and her parents have decided to spend the holiday traveling. But the remote mountain cabin she inherited is not the idyllic paradise she remembers from her childhood. There’s no power, no cell service, and she's quite sure someone - or something - is watching her from the woods…

Sinta’s observation trip to this primitive planet has gone disastrously wrong. His ship's systems have gone haywire, the freezing temperatures have thrown his body into his beast-like survival mode, and he's lost touch with his world. Then the enchanting human female he spies from the woods threatens to throw his beast into a mating frenzy…

When Sinta and Holly are forced to work together to survive they discover an unexpected connection – but is there any future for them once the holidays are over?

This sweet and steamy holiday tale is part of the Stranded With an Alien collection, a collaboration of authors telling holiday tales with a science fiction romance twist. Each book is a standalone, containing its own Happily Ever After, and they can be read in any order. Intended for mature readers!

Maybe I was just hormonal, but I found this to be genuinely moving smutty Bigfoot Christmas sci-fi romance novella. Whodda thunk it?

Honey's Christmas novellas have been part of the Holiday season for me for several years. A little cheesy, but as cozy as a book in front of a crackling fireplace should be. I love them all 🫂

What a delightful story!
Well, Holly’s two-week holiday vacation certainly didn’t end up as dismal as it seemed it would. I love the way Sinta is drawn to her, to provide and protect, while remaining unseen. That soon changes. As slowly as the attraction between Holly and Sinta develops, it seems as if it’s longer than a couple short weeks. By the end, it is sizzling hot! Can they part? Read and see! I love the resolution to this deeply romantic story!

3.5⭐️ A cute little holiday novella! Just my usual complaints with any novella, I didn’t feel like the ~scenes~ were as descriptive as they could have been, I feel like it would’ve added more depth to their relationship if there was more tension and build-up, followed by a descriptive scene or two. This one was also a bit cheesy at times, a little bit too much for me (his name is Sinta LOL and his little nanites are abbreviated ELVs) but overall cute!

SINTA de Honey Phillips serie Stranded With an Alien libro 6

Argumento:

Holly's best friend and her family are off traveling over Christmas. So Holly has to spend Christmas alone. So she takes off for the cabin her uncle left to her in his will. A simple little getaway ends up being a bit more interesting than she planned. Enter Sinta. He's studying earth for his planet, but his ship crashed and he's stuck while it repairs itself. Once Sinta finds Holly he's captivated. I love his character development during this story. What did I love about this story?

**All that is Sinta–velvety lips, fur, big, strong, commanding, & purple...
**The cozy cabin setting and the snow.
**Slow-burn romance and it was perfectly spicy.
**Easy and comforting read.
**I want to be held by Sinta. His survival form is the best.
**Holly is sweet and kind--and adorable, curvy human.

I love holiday/Christmas-themed books. Sinta was the perfect escape! Have a little snowy adventure with Holly and Sinta! 5 stars!

I really liked this! It had the feel of a shifter romance instead of alien at times, but Sinta was so cute. I loved that his instincts were immediately in love with Holly. Really cute Christmas stuff too.

Apparently aliens are even more ashamed of sexual proclivities than are puritanical humans.

Holly’s parents are headed to Europe on a second honeymoon and all of her friends have made plans for Christmas. She decides to visit a remote cabin left to her by an uncle. She is not prepared for the amount of snow and crashes her car into a tree. She has to hike the rest of the way to the cabin.

Meanwhile, Sinta is on a mission to study humans on earth. His body naturally acclimates to winter conditions, covering him entirely with fur. His survival form’s enhanced senses sniff out Holly and he follows her. His alter ego maintains that she is his mate and begins performing tasks to make her life easier. A gift of fresh meat on her doorstep causes Holly to overreact and injure herself. Sinta tends to her injuries inside the cabin.

She convinces him to sleep with her to help keep her toasty at night. The warmer temperature causes his body to revert to its normal appearance and he flees, ashamed of his obvious arousal. He eventually gets over his shame and Holly shows him how much fun they can have together with either of his forms.

He reports to his leader that he should stay on earth for further research. Holly moves permanently to the cabin. They fool most people into thinking Sinta is human, although her father has his suspicions.

This occurred to me while reading: I’m going to assume that the cabin has a well since it’s so far from city utilities, although it does have electricity. Assuming I’m correct, Holly wouldn’t have any running water since the well’s pump runs on electricity unless there is solar or wind power. The existing water in the pipes probably wouldn’t be potable after sitting for months and there wouldn’t be more that a couple of toilet flushes worth.

I found this series after Ella Maven’s newsletter clued me in to Baki’s story.

Written in third person, Sinta is a story about an alien that’s part cat, part human, and can change between forms like a werewolf, whose ship crashed on earth. Holly is a human who inherited a cabin from her uncle in those same woods. Holly decided to spend Christmas alone at this cabin after she recently broke up with her long-term boyfriend. And, of course, Sinta is infatuated with Holly. They become each other’s companion through the holiday, slowly falling in love with one another. When it comes time to leave, Sinta can’t leave Holly, and decides to stay. She also quit her job in the city, sold her apartment, and moved to the cabin with Sinta where they lived happily ever after.

I wanted to like this story, I really did. Unfortunately, it was too damn boring. Not only did the third person format keep me from being able to relate to either of the characters, the monotonous filler between sexual encounters was a snooze fest. Cutting down a tree, decorating that tree, tending to her sprained ankle for a week, fixing her water heater (really?), fixing her car, chopping wood, all while fighting his primal instincts to mate her. Ugh, *yawn.* 🥱😴💤I skimmed the last half of the book just to end the torture faster. Maybe it is just my personal preference, but first person perspective for these types of novels is a necessity. At least with me. 🤔🤷‍♀️ The romance scenes were okay. Nothing to write home about, but they were the best parts of the story. Granted, you have to read through 53% of crap before it finally warms up. 🔥 I wouldn’t go out of my way for the book, IMHO, but the other books in this series are fantastic!

This was a quick and easy read the characters were well thought out and had you cheering for them. Holly just received an inheritance of the cabin in the mountains where she use stay as a child and she has very fond memories of her uncle and now it her’s and she decides to spend two weeks up in the mountains. When she crashes her car into a tree after sliding on ice she has to walk the rest of the way but she can only carry so much and leaves the rest but all the while she believes someone is watching her and hurry’s to the cabin. Now at the cabin she doesn’t remember it not having any power or cell service but she will have to make do for the next two weeks. Sinta comes to earth on an observation trip when is ship has mechanical problems and he has to land but it very cold which has his beast mode come out to handle the weather. When he see’s the human female his beast almost go into a mating frenzy and has him drawn to her and he must protect and provide for her and after she walks away from her vehicle carry very little he realizes she is not clothed for the cold weather but she keeps walking away to a building not far away and so he brings the rest of her stuff and cuts firewood for her as well. Holly thinks she has seen an abominable snowman or something but it seem to be friendly and it isn’t long before they are working together and the attraction takes over. How does it all turn out does Sinta fix his ship or is he rescued and if he leaves does he take Holly with him or does he decide to stay on earth with her. There is so much more going on in this book that I know you will love.

Sinta is a cute holiday read: the hero’s name is a play on Santa, and the heroine’s name is Holly. It’s 100% a cabin romance, as Holly has come to the family cabin her uncle left to her during winter. Her car has died, the phone and power are out, she can’t get a signal for her mobile phone—but she feels like someone’s watching her from the woods.

I liked a lot of the elements Phillips has in this novella. Sinta has a beast form and a regular form, and as an alien who’s crash-landed on earth, his beast form has taken over—but he’s still able to reason and adjust, which doesn’t happen a lot in shifter romances. I really liked that ability. Holly is a reasonable girl who wants to change up her life. So there’s lots of great stuff in Sinta.

But when Holly meets Sinta, she doesn’t seem very terrified to encounter the alien equivalent of Bigfoot. After a few moments of shock, she’s dealing with him readily. In pretty rapid measure, she’s basically turned on by Sinta and wants to move things forward. And I had a hard time with this as a reader, even knowing this was a novella. I needed to understand better why Holly was able to pivot relatively quickly from dread and terror to wanting to jump Sinta’s body. If that shift had been more clearly shown, I would have enjoyed Sinta more. Instead, I felt like I was being yanked forward in the story to keep it at novella length.

So is this an enjoyable holiday alien romance? Absolutely. Did Phillips come up with a great solution to work out their challenge of being from, you know, different universes and wanting to be a couple? Absolutely. Was I pulled out of the story for about a good third of it? Yes, I was. But I still found this to be a fun, clever alien romance.

Regarding Ms. Phillip’s books, my reviews are starting to sound all the same. The truth is that I cannot change how I feel about her books. For me, books are a coping mechanism; they offer an escape from reality, and when it comes to Ms. Phillips’s books, they are one of the best choices for alien romance. They have everything you (or at least me) are looking for, and this book is no exception.
Now to the review, Holly’s forever on-and-off boyfriend has left her for another woman right before the holidays; out man and out of plans, she decides to venture on her own into the wild and spend her two weeks’ vacation at her uncle’s old cabin in the mountains; of course, she miscalculates the abilities of her small car and ends up in a ditch not far from her uncle’s cabin. The Kringlar has sent Sinta to study the earth and decide if we are ready to join the empire, but his red SLED (lol) crashes after passing by a space storm, with only ELVs to help him fix his ship; his observations have been delayed.
Sinta is out hunting in his primal form when he witnesses Holly’s accident and is fascinated with this human female. I loved this book; Holly and Sinta made the perfect couple; their relationship grows through ridiculously funny misunderstandings. And I love all the clever wordplay. As always, there is no cheating or cliffhangers, just HEA for one of my favorite couples.
I will recommend this book.

Aliens for the holiday

I decided to finally read about Sinta and Holly to help get me in the Christmas holiday spirit even though we haven't completed celebrating Halloween with one week to go. I did not get the chance to read this last year as I was just too busy with moving and other changes in my life. I'm so I decided to read this now, because the Christmas holidays are my favorite and it's just too bad that we all don't have a hot Kringlar to cozy up to during this time.

It was fun watching Sinta struggle between his scientific knowledge with his mission and his primal urges when it came to Holly. It was very refreshing having the MMC be hunky in his own way but not be some dumb, me Tarzan you Jane character. Holly got to teach Sinta about Earth customs, so he did accomplish part of his mission 😉 😉.

I really love how Ms. Phillips continues to give us stories with such a diverse array of characters that it never gets old with each new acquisition as she has written over 70 books.

If you're looking for a little holiday fun to give your holiday spirit a kick start, I would suggest reading Sinta. Christmas is definitely coming early this year as I already can't wait to put the Halloween decorations away. Next up, Thanksgiving, but Christmas prep has definitely already started.

A Merry Alien Christmas!

Holly has just broke up with her long time boyfriend again, but this time it’s final. He found someone else! As hard as she tries she can’t seem to get to upset about it. It was time to move on. Since her parents are going to Paris for Christmas, she decides to spend her time off at her Uncle’s cabin in the mountains. Unfortunately, just before she gets to the cabin an animal runs in front of her car and she crashes into the trees. She walks the rest of the way in the snow. Now she is stuck with no car, no phone and no power. Good thing she brought lots of food!

Sinta is stuck on earth until his space ship can be repaired. He is only there to set up surveillance so he can observe the primitive humans from the back of the moon. His boss is going to be furious! As long as no one sees him it will be fine, except is that a small human dragging something through the snow towards the rustic building nearby? Perhaps she needs help!

This is a cute and funny story. I love how Sinta makes first contact with Holly and how their relationship develops. But what will happen to their love when he has to leave?.

A human stranded (of a sort) in an isolated cabin and an alien stranded on a primitive (by his standards) planet. I'm ready for this!

Holly kinda sorta overestimates her ability to rough it in her new (to her, not new-new...uh, it's not actually new to her, either. She just hadn't been there in a while and had forgotten how rustic things were. You know what? Just go with it.) cabin and ends up getting a little help from the alien hanging out in the woods. To be fair, Holly DOES know how to take care of herself, it's just that things are a little overwhelming and there's a lot more to do to keep things running than she remembered.

Fortunately for her, there's a hunky alien skulking in the woods as he waits for his ship to be repaired. Sinta takes a bit of liking to Holly and her charmingly primitive lifestyle and it isn't long before he's helping her out. Anonymously, of course, since, you know, he's an alien. Then they meet face to face and THINGS HAPPEN.

A little holiday cheer, an alien with fur and fangs (among other things), a lady who isn't afraid of something a little different, and a couple of very satisfying encounters. GOOD STUFF!

Holly decides to go to her cabin for a few weeks over the holidays. Her long time boyfriend just broke up with her and surprisingly it didn't bother. So with her car packed with food and clothing, she headed out. As the snow got heavier and the roads worsened, she finally found the turnoff. The road was bad and she lost control; the trees did a number on the front end of the car. No phone service so the only option- find her cabin. Grabbing her suitcase and a bag of groceries, she heads out. And she gets the feeling something is watching her.
Sinta has been sent to Earth to observe but trouble with his ship caused him to land. He found a protected area on a mountain. Holly's mountain. His survival half emerged and his white fur covering his body protected him. And he scents Holly.
Our author has created another amazing story filled with exploration, acceptance, joy, Christmas, sadness, and love. Great characters and locations that called out to me. I felt like I was sitting in the cabin enjoying the crackling of the fire and the radiant heat. A beautiful Christmas tale.

Sinta has been sent to observe Earth from a distance which meant that he was not meant to actually set foot on the planet. An ion storm caused his ship to actually crash into the planet making his research increasingly difficult and yet bringing him far closer to his subject than he would ever have imagined. Closer still when a scent on the breeze sends his survival form into a whole new level of awareness. Holly has decided to get away from it all for holidays. A combination of events sending her to her uncle's cabin in the woods that he left to her. The happy memories of time spent there is just what she feels she needs right now. The thing is despite being so far from everyone she gets the very distinct feeling that someone is out there and they are most definitely watching her!
I loved Sinta. How his logical scientific side was at war with his primal primitive side. This is the perfect feel-good holiday romance with just the right touch of humour and spice.

This was a fun quick read the main female character decides to spend Christmas alone after her ex breaks up with her and he’s basically getting married and he’s going on a trip with his new girlfriend the trip that they were supposed to go on together her uncle passed away and left her a cabin in the woods, so she decides to go over there and spend Christmas alone while she’s on her way. Her car breaks down, and she has to walk to the cabin, then the alien sees her and he’s drawn to her and he takes her little gifts without her knowing he helps her with certain things and then she spots him and calls him Bigfoot but she knows he’s really an alien and then he admits everything to her and it’s a fun fast little Christmas alien booknothing too serious I would read more from this author it was exactly what it was supposed to be

I voluntarily read an arc of this book and am leaving an honest review. I really enjoyed this interesting retelling of big foot! It explains so much about why we never find them lol. Santa Ana’s crash landed on Earth. A planet he’s supposed to be studying to see if they’re ready to be brought into the intergalactic federation. When he smells something delicious, his survival form, similar to a big foot, can’t resist following it. Turns out that delicious smell is Holly. She could swear someone is following her but there are no neighbors at her uncles cabin. When strange things keep happening she realizes she’s not alone. Great characters, good story, very cute.

I wanna be stranded with a hot alien that cooks, takes care of me, smells and taste like gingerbread…I mean seriously, it’s like living the dream.

She’s getting away for Christmas since her parents are out of town, and she and her boyfriend broke up. Sinta is there doing research on humans for his people, imagine his surprise when he smells a tantalizing smell, that smells a lot like his mate. Then he proceeds to watch out for her when it’s apparent she needs him to take care of her.

Safe read, with a protective gingerbread smelling abominable snowman and his mate. Ok, obviously he’s not actually an abominable snowman, but it’s hilarious when she refers to him that way when he’s in his survival form. Yes, he is super cool in that he had 2 forms. Sweet epilogue and hea.

Holly
It's the Christmas holidays, and my boyfriend of almost seven years decides he wants to break up with me and take someone else on the Christmas vacation we planned. I went to the cabin my Uncle Ted left for me.
On the way, a snowstorm hit. My car skidded into a tree, but I was close to the cabin. As I walked there, I swore I could feel something watching me.
Sinta
My ship was damaged while on my way to Earth. While the ELVs worked to repair my ship, I went to catch dinner. He smelled a delicious scent and couldn't help but follow it. His survival form wouldn't let him do anything but follow it. He found her. She was HIS. How was he ever going to leave her after his ship was repaired? Sensual, Hot. Guaranteed HEA!!!

Due to a recent break up, Holly finds herself alone for the holidays and decides to go up to her cabin to celebrate by herself. Unfortunately her car breaks down and she has to trek the rest of the way there in the cold. Thankfully she has a guardian angel in Sinta, a handsome alien who is fascinated by her and starts to become a bit obsessed with taking care of her.

This was a truly sweet holiday tale to get in the Christmas mood with. Both characters were likeable and I couldn’t help but to root for their romance. I always enjoy a protective hero who looks after his heroine and Sinta provided that.

Holiday goodness

I loved how Sinta treated holly, even before they met officially. After her car slid on ice and hit a tree she could only carry a bag of food with her and her clothing was not right for how cold and snowy the weather was so it was a hard trek the rest of the way to her lat great-uncles cabin so when Sinta noticed her struggle he couldn't resist delivering the rest of her things and cut up fire wood for her. I'm glad they got along fast after their first meeting, how caring but gruff Sinta was with her. Wish I could have experienced more of the hot scenes instead of it fading to black, other then that I would love to read more holiday stories from Honey Phillips

Exactly what I want for Christmas! I loved the way the story flowed and how the relationship grew. The setup for this story is natural and gradual. I loved Sinta right from the start, he kind of made me think like, if Spock and a Bigfoot had a baby, it might grow up to be Sinta. Especially when the mating urge kicks in and he is guided by his beastly half. That part of the story doesn't just spring up on you, there is a gradual build-up. Holly was also a sweet, Christmas-loving character, naturally, given her name. It was impossible to put down once I started reading it. I loved reading all of it!

Happy HOLLY-days !!!!

As Always ,I enjoy a romp through the Kasikarian worlds !!!
In this book we meet Holly , who finds herself on her own for Christmas. She decides a trip to her late uncles cabin in the mountains is the perfect Christmas trip, even if she will be alone .
Sinta has been sent on a fact finding mission in order to see if the Earthlings are close to being ready to join the Empire. Collecting information about how primitive these people are are his number one priority.
Until he crashes.
And he finds much more in these woods then the cold weather !!
Thus book was a light hearted , easy holiday read that I will add to my collection !!!
