Every bit as good as his first book, only complaint is it relies heavily on the air fryer lid which I do not have (yet!) Recipes well written and delicious!

We have not had a bad recipe with pressure luck. I discovered the web site when I found his recipe for meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I begged for the first book for Christmas, everything I've made from it has been a hit! (Including chicken shawarma that the picky kids fight over leftovers).
I knew I absolutely couldn't live without this new one! I've had book for 24 hours, our first meal was Carolina pulled chicken and slaw. It was amazing! Both kids promptly ate seconds and ended up loving the slaw. I've already started making a list for what to try next.
I've never been lead wrong with his recipes. I love that the pictures really walk you thru what to do/ what it should look like at each stage. We've also tried things out of our comfort zone and have become hooked (looking at you chicken shawarma and orange sesame beef!)

Be ready to do math to scale down these recipes whenever possible as he cooks like he's catering (congee with 4lbs of chicken = 6 servings). Also you need to split a lot of recipes between the IP and other cooking methods due to ingredients and how they cook. There are some good recipes in here though that I look forward to making and some that I had already yanked off the internet anyway but now are conveniently stashed in a cookbook vs. paper printouts I have spilled ingredients all over multiple times by now.

This is everything you could want in an instant pot cookbook. Pics of each step. . . nutritional information. . . conversational tone and family-friendly meals. I'm just not sure I want to use my instant pot. But, I probably will end up buying this book because if any book can convince me to use this appliance it's this one. Strong on meats and proteins; some of these can be modified to work in a slow cooker or air fryer/convection oven.

I had never used my instant pot prior to trying these recipes, and I gotta say, if you are at all afraid of using this intimidating, steam-spouting, pressure bomb of a device, Jeff Eisner makes it foolproof and practically brainless. And the recipes are pretty good! This is a "lite" cookbook, but the collard greens in my kitchen taste anything but.

3.5 Nice descriptions and step-by-step photos, but realistically would only make about 20 recipes…and a chunk of those are foods my husband likes, but aren’t my fav, like chicken congee and shrimp with lobster sauce. Glad to have an easy way to try those recipes though! Also, overall I didn’t enjoy how much recipes call for ghee and using the sauté and/or air fry features.

I'm so conflicted about this one. I wanted to like it, but most of these recipes didn't hit me well. I marked a few, but not nearly as many as the Simple Comforts Step-by-Step book. Maybe it's that I'm a Midwesterner, but I honestly do like fresh food and healthy eating. Somehow the way he executed it here didn't work for me. Which is too bad bc I love his Step By Step books!

This book focuses on recipes for the pressure cooker and air fryer. The recipes are easy to follow and each one has a small amount of ingredients. While not complex, the recipes are delicious and each one has photos.

This book is even better than Eisner's other book on IP cooking. I've made several recipes from it and must add it to my wish list for buyiing.

I love that our Library has so many great cookbooks to share!

I'm definitely going to try a few of the recipes in this book but I had to recalculate all the nutrition info because the sodium contents are *way* off on some of these. I'm wondering if he calculated it based on leaving out the salt he calls for in the recipe?

Love Jeffery and all his recipes. Highly recommend this book if you have, or are planning to get, an electric pressure cooker. His recipes are loaded with photos & tips so your dish will turn out perfectly. I’ve yet to find a recipe we didn’t like.

Someone gave me an instant pot recently and having never used one, I thought it would be nice to get started. This was a good beginning guide.

Delicious recipes! This threw me off because the Kindle cover is red but the actual book cover is blue (which I own and is falling apart from constant use) I was happy to see that this is on Kindle Unlimited so maybe my copy can get a break once in a while. Another hit by Jeffrey, everything I have made from this book is amazing! Highly recommend!

Jeffrey's first book, The Step-by-Step Instant Pot Cookbook, was awesome so getting a look at this one was at the top of my To Do list as soon as I heard about it. First things first: everything I loved about the first book is true about this one, too. The layout is outstanding, and it's still a perfect book for someone who's still a little afraid of their Instant Pot. The variety of recipes is impressive, covering all the major categories (including desserts). Some of them sound a little weird (Spicy Lemon Spaghetti in particular, yet it sounds intriguing, too - need to try it), and a few are old favorites I can't wait to revisit (Borscht and/or Fish Tacos anyone?). Yum! I'm going to need to pace myself.

The improvements are noteworthy. Basic nutrition information has been added to every recipe (calories, fat, carbs, sodium, protein, fiber, and sugars). Each recipe has been identified with a series of symbols as being keto, paleo, dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan (or compliant with modifications), or to identify those recipes that need an air-fryer lid which I don't have. This information is not only on each and every recipe page, but is also included on the table of contents for easy reference and at the beginning of each chapter.

Great recipes and tips

I like the structure of this cookbook. Eisner offers good instructions and the pictures are helpful.my only complaint is that the meals tend to make more than given servings.
