You should never feed a yeti spaghetti, offer a llama a banana, or give a cheetah a fajita! Find out why in this hilarious rhyming book. Each animal has a giant open mouths and big, felt teeth, so children can reach through the holes to mimic feeding them! This tactile book offers plenty for young children to enjoy, helping to promote an early love of reading!
A rhyming board book with novelty felt mouths to feed!
Fun board book. Kids will love sticking their hands in the felt "mouths." Downsides - the only mention of a yeti is the front cover (and poor yeti doesn't even get a nice little rhyme) and "banana" will never rhyme with "llama." ("Cheetah" and "Fajita" are also a bit of a stretch, but I will allow it)
2/5/2021 At least a dozen times over the winter 9/26/2021 5/10/2021 12/16/2020 4/8/2020 I’m pretty sure we’ve read this 30 times over the winter. 3/30/2019 Not the first or even second time we’ve read this one but I can’t remember the other dates.
This touch and feel board book has holes with felt teeth on each page and features an animal (whale, llama, cheetah, chimp, sloth) that does not need to be fed certain foods like bananas, fajitas, broth or kale. The explanations for these animals not needing the food are silly, not serious.
I was expecting to see fictitious animals since there is a yeti on the cover, but the other animals in this book all truly exist.
This is one of the most clever and engaging books for kids that I have read in a long while. The cover is awesome and the interaction the children have with the animals and discussions about them and different foods is endless. I will conitnue to use this over and over again. Who would have thought that a yeti could be so engaging!
Another brilliantly fun interactive book for little ones where the teeth of the different animals are felt and the simple story rhymes. Im curious and quite looking forward to seeing how Noah interacts with this one as he gets older and starts to work out that he can put his hand and different objects through the mouth of the different animals.
These cute, nonsense scenarios involve feeding the creatures in the book different types of food and the reasons it won't work. Kids would likely love to throw printed examples of these foods through the felt teeth on each page and acting out how to eat each food.
I have so much reading this book to Peter. The text is very clever and it rhymes. I love it when I get to read a rhyme, It makes me happy every time. Peter loves putting his little hand in all of the different mouths.
Readers are advised not to feed different animals certain foods.
This board book features a cut-out construction that creates an open mouth with felt teeth for each animal, which is the best part. Yetis are only mentioned in the title and on the cover.
3.5 Read for our spaghetti story time. Wish that it inluded the yeti in the actual story and not just the cover. Also, I think this must be from across the pond since they think Llama and banana rhyme. In any American accent, it is a bit of a stretch. Cute but with flaws. Kids enjoyed it though.
This was a cute book. I still want to know. Bette reason why you should never feed the yeti spaghetti hahah. I liked all of the other bills and their rhyming stories and then the yeti one didn’t really do that. I’d recommend this book to younger readers.
Never Feed a Yeti Spaghetti is a hilarious and playful story that kids will love. The Yeti’s silly adventures and the colorful, lively illustrations make the book extra fun to read. It’s full of surprises and laughs on every page.
Allerlei wilde dieren met vilten tandjes. Onze peuter steekt spontaan haar hand in hun bek en zegt dan "ow!", en aait de grote vilten haaienbek op het einde. Heerlijk.
