Cold My Heart: Love. Magic. Faith. By the autumn of 537 AD, all who are loyal to King Arthur have retreated to a small parcel of land in north Wales. They are surrounded on all sides, heavily outnumbered, and facing near certain defeat.
But Myrddin and Nell, two of the king's companions, have a secret that neither has ever been able to face: each has seen that on a cold and snowy day in December, Saxon soldiers sent by Modred will ambush and kill King Arthur.
And together, they must decide what they are willing to do, and to sacrifice, to avert that fate.
The Good Knight: Join Gareth & Gwen in their first mystery together ...
Five years after Gareth walked away from Gwen in disgrace, she encounters him in the aftermath of an ambush, standing over the body of a murdered king. Although it isn't exactly the reunion Gwen had dreamed of, she and Gareth join forces against the treachery and intrigue rife within the court of Gwynedd.
And once blame for the murder falls on Gareth himself, Gwen must continue her search for the truth alone, finding unlikely allies in foreign lands, and ultimately uncovering a conspiracy that will shake the foundations of Wales.
The Last Pendragon: Rhiann knows that demons walk the night. She has been taught to fear them. But from the moment Cade is dragged before her father's throne, beaten and having lost all of his men to her father's treachery, he stirs something inside her that she has never felt before. When Cade is revealed to be not only Arthur's heir but touched by the sidhe, Rhiann must choose between the life she left behind and the one before her--and how much she is willing to risk to follow her heart.
With over a million books sold to date, Sarah Woodbury is the author of more than forty novels, all set in medieval Wales. Although an anthropologist by training, and then a full-time homeschooling mom for twenty years, she began writing fiction when the stories in her head overflowed and demanded that she let them out. While her ancestry is Welsh, she only visited Wales for the first time at university. She has been in love with the country, language, and people ever since. She even convinced her husband to give all four of their children Welsh names.

Good stories but without an end. You need to buy the next in series and then you might not get an ending...Don't you just hate it when a good story stops before it's finished. Only people who want to buy all the books in each series should read these...and that comes to a lot of books. Although I enjoyed what I read, not enough to want to continue with countless books..
No story was ever completed in book. All were left hanging.
incomplete. Stories untold. Scattered. Story lines that are inconsistent, non conforming to the plotline. I want to know where the help the vehicles disappeared to in both time travel plots that never were explained, nor the story line expressed or expounded upon. Time I will Never Get Back. Thought of looking at more books, read reviews and realized, but my losses now! There's only so much readers pissed off I can get before it becomes self abuse.✌💋
I really think this author can write and I would have been an avid reader of her work but I will not support cliffhangers. I want to pay for a good book not one that takes you to the heat of the story and leaves you hanging. I'm not falling for that gimmick for more money. There are to many authors out there with great books that are complete why waste my time on this. 's. Woodbury you have loss an david read with these tricks for money. Your talent is something you should be proud of, enough to let it make the money without th err gimmicks to lure your audience. What a was
Each one was different. I enjoy reading books by Sarah Woodbury as her books are clean. In this day, clean books are not the normal. Thank you to Ms. Woodbury.
Here is a couple of complains about Cold My Heart. I believe the story is fine, I just hope there will be more romantic with the two main characters. The story is interesting and wonderful. Here's the couple of complains for The Last Pendragon. I kinda hope there was going to be a little more of romances or spark between the two main characters. I was confuse about the sidhe in the story. Here's a couple of my little complains about the Daughter of Time. I wish there was a better ending on the story. I kinda expected a little more of romances in the story, there wasn't enough romantic scene in the story for me. Here's what I thought about the Good Knight. It's a great and mysterious story. Everything about it was incredible and unexpected. Those are some of my complains and comments about the stories and they were all good stories over all; just need a little bit of work is all I'm saying. I recommend all those good stories to people who likes romantic, action, adventure, mystery, times travelling, war, creepy and medieval books. Thank you to the author who wrote those wonderful books. This was an interesting introduction to the 4 different series by the author. I am certainly tempted to get "Footsteps in Time" which follows on from the first book in this collection. The book "The Good Knight" seemed to be a bit long-winded to me, and it would have been better if the last book "The Last Pendragon" was before "The Good Knight" in this collection. This would make the timeline easier to follow. As it stands, reading "The Good Knight" before "The Last Pendragon" creates confusion as there are characters in the latter who are killed in the former.
Daughter of Time is a perfect mix of everything you could want in a novel. Plenty of action, adventure, romance and imagination on a backdrop of gritty, medieval reality. The character's thoughts and feelings, along with incredible attention to detail and historical accuracy, create an instant feeling of reality and relatability difficult to find in a fantasy novel. One of the few books I reread at least once a year. Highly recommended!
The story idea is good but it’s kind of all over the place. It’s not really believable and I’m not a huge fan of how it was told. First person point of view that bounced back and forth between the hero and heroine really made it hard to relate to the characters and hard to get into the story. Because of that I did not finish it. I feel like this could be an amazing story of told differently. There is definitely some potential.
Nicely done stories about the history and some myths of Wales, Sweet romantic touches throughout and alot of very well described action in the battles. It's easy to get very involved with the characters also. This book set will keep your interest and it gives you a good taste of what's to come in the next books too.
I am totally captivated by Sarah Woodbury's writing. I have been immersed in the Welsh countryside for 2 days now and I can't wait to read more. I can see the landscape, hear the sounds and see the sea in the distance as if I were there, thanks to her masterful way with words.
Love that it is based in history yet has the twist of imagination needed to fill in the blanks. While Kings may be real some of the counterparts may not be, but still needed and of course, couldn't have had a life or story without them. Totally reccomend the series! This was the freebie, and I can't wait to get the rest!
Guardians of Medieval Wales (Four First-in-Series Historical Romances)
These stories are a wonderful adventure into the past history of Wales. The Author provides excellent character development throughout the book. The Author has provided an opportunity to enjoy her work for free.
Not a bad story but hate the fact that is doesn't have a finish line. Would have wanted to finish the story instead of having to carry on to finish if it does. The writing was on par with the times the story was set in. The author does bring alive the characters which made it interesting and captivating, but I expected more.
A love of fantasy would also help. These romantic histories set in Wales show research into not just the events but also the culture, which the fantasy elements suit just fine.
Each of these stories starts interesting series. Each character is different and each story follows a different theme. Mystery and paranormal with romance thrown in!
I love Sarah Woodbury's books, how well she develops the characters and the stories. This collection continues with the beginnings of engrossing sagas with a lot of manners, gallantry, and even time travel thrown in for good measure! ENJOY
I thoroughly enjoyed reading all of these stories! Although they are all set in the same time period, all the tales are unique and exciting. I can't wait to read more from these wonderfully creative writers!
These were all good stories but written more for young adults that like history and tales. The last book was just a very short novella, translate to several chapters, then sold as a book. Will not go out of my way to find her books.
History with a twist of the paranormal. As the first books in four series all set in Wales can be a lot of information to process. Adult themes but the sexy times are not graphic.
This last story of Pendragon was short and to full of other worldly travelers for my taste in reading but the two main characters were interesting and I felt I might have liked to know their story.
I have read Daughter in Time before and got thoroughly pulled in to the story. The other teasers this book provided did not disappoint. The history involved is fascinating and the last book had a fae side that fit right in. I would definitely read more from Sarah Woodbury.
