This is freaking awesome!!! I love Nagumo and Nezu's characters so much! And the story is getting more intense and creepy! And the action sequence is just so good. Man, this really is a gem! And I'm only hearing about this now!

We finally learn a bit more about Big Boobs Lady. Let’s call her Nagumo for clarity’s sake.
The character isn’t credible one bit so far if I’m honest but at least she brings a little fun in an otherwise rather dark story. We still have to discover what actually happened 14 years ago but I reckon it’s not so hard to make an educated guess.
Shin’s own investigation make them cross paths again and they decide to work together methodically with a plan which, considering the very last panel, should be blown to bits soon enough.
In the meantime they fight a few shadows and learn a few things. The hard way.
If this volume is a bit less creepy than the previous one there’s no real drop of tension. We get new clues, some fights and even a touch of humour with Nagumo’s weird behavior. Still good.

WOWWOW what a volume! Shinpei is still mostly the MC, but we now follow Hizuru/Ryuu and see more about her mission, read about her brother, about her split personality (if one would call it that), some hints to the events of 14 years past, and see the trio make a good way into getting rid of the shadows (and we truly find out how to get rid of a shadow, not easy, but doable if you know how). Funny to see how some events have happened before, like apparently Hizuru/Ryuu HAS been in Shiori's home before given that Shinpei mentioned the strange marks on the floor which we now know to be the hammer that Hizuru/Ryuu uses. I am really enjoying this manga and seeing the changes, differences, and also see things that happened in previous loops. Since we are just at volume 3... that means there is a long time to go before we may get a good ending, that worries me a bit, but I am also curious to see how things will go. And that ending! OH YES. Hello to that person again~

Nov 20. 2021: This volume focuses more on Nagumo, and I've gotta say, they've quickly become two of my favorite characters. The mystery thickens, and I for one am dying to find out what's going on with the Shadows and their Mother.
Jul 20. 2021: I never realized how much Heine's relationship to Hizuru was hinted at in these early volumes. Obviously at this point you don't know who Heine is, so it's not relevant, but it's still neat to see just how much foreshadowing went into this series.

This is a promising and intense mystery-horror series until the author has to reassure the readers, "Yes, the character with big boobs still has big boobs," and then it continues to be a promising thriller.

I finally got what the plot means in this volume, so I’m starting to really like it, let’s see if it’s just uphill from here. Cuz I’m liking it, and sometimes stuff like this can have bad endings.

Na pewnym etapie historii trzeba powoli, ale sukcesywnie zacząć serwować odbiorcy odpowiedzi na nurtujące go pytania. Tak właśnie zaczyna się dziać w tomie trzecim. Największą gwiazdą tego albumu jest tajemnicza młoda kobieta widniejąca na okładce, która wydaje się wiedzieć co tak naprawdę dzieje się na wyspie Hitogashima. Czy połączy ona siły z bohaterem przeżywającym ten sam tragiczny dzień?
Twórca nie ma zamiaru od pierwszych stron ujawniać wszystkich fabularnych sekretów. W fantazyjno-mrocznej otoczce nadal buduje on wciągającą historię, w której akcja miesza się z ludzkimi dramatami i wyrazistą dawką brutalności. Zarówno obecne wydarzenia, jak i dobrze zaprezentowane retrospekcje zaczynają jednak rzucać więcej światła na „cienie” i historię samej wyspy. Wszystko to w jakiś sposób jest ze sobą powiązane i odkrycie tego może zapobiec dalszym tragediom. Scenariusz jest więc gęsty, złożony, momentami potrafi być ponadto odpowiednio przerażający. Przewracając strony mangi i zagłębiając się w zaprezentowanej historii, odbiorca otrzymuje kolejne puzzle, z których sam może układać szerszy obraz całości, co dodatkowo zachęca go do dalszego poznawania fabuły.

En este tomo la cosa se ha puesto muy interesante por dos motivos: ya no hay día de la marmota porque Shinpei le ha cogido el truco y porque Hizuru, su hermano gemelo (o su personalidad) y Nezu son personajazos expertos en cazar sombras por vivencias pasadas.
Ahora que hay un avance y empiezan a ganarle terreno a las sombras, la cosa está que arde. Espero que no vuelvan a usar más el día de la marmota como recurso (aunque me imagino que lo harán) y que la acción siga así, sin parangón.

Cada vez le encuentro más detalles que van fallando en la trama, no me esta gustando tanto como esperaba. Por cierto el pixelado de las sombras se ve mal, como si fuera una mala impresión, es raro, me saca de la lectura cuando los veo.

Three volumes in and I think that I'm finally starting to understand what is going on. The artwork has kept me coming back, but now the story has its hooks in me.

Time Shadows est un très bon thriller teinté de surnaturel. Il oscille avec l’horreur sans toutefois y entrer de plain-pied. Les protagonistes jouent bien leur rôle et les révélations de ce tome, pour ne pas parler des rebondissements, nous rendent encore plus accro et lire la suite devient primordial ! J’ai hâte !
