I really like this cookbook. Each recipe has its country of origin listed and the recipes are also indexed both by ingredient and by country. I wish it was a tad slimmer and wider so that it would flop open nicely. I've tried a few of the recipes and they've come out so tasty. I borrowed this from the library but am quite tempted to buy a used copy and add it to my personal library.

Don't bother. The cookbook duplicates multiple recipes throughout the book. I don't need the same recipe twice.

Not a book i really liked. There are some things that i think are interesting, but i always want something more practical as a non professional cook. These recipes, although some are great, are more geared towards professionals and i am just not on that level.
It is what it is though, and if you really like to cook, to experiment and to stand in a kitchen for hours on end, this one is more for you than for example : "plant based on a budget".

This was a very disappointing book. Every recipe was loaded with oil or margarine. It kind of defeats the purpose of eating Vegan, if it isn’t healthy.

A neighbor recommended this to me but it doesn't float my boat. Hardly any pictures.

It was okay. The book is full of recipes. However some of the recipes are too complicated. one recipe even takes 4 days with dozens of ingredients. I rate it 3 stars.

When I first saw these recipes, and theirr ingredients, I have to say - wow! Did they look disgusting... However! It turns out, they're absolutely sumptuous. I tried turnimg multiple of these recipes into a fridge croquette, which I fried in chicken oil. Zgrounbreaking stuff, there's something magical about chicken grease - just like my mom alwahs said. My hubby (<333) hates food, and he even thought these were edible (that's high praise!!) He only eats green food and eggs though, so that can be irritating. But I love him anyways - I joke he can't divorce me or I'm seeking child support lol

Well now this is just the best gosh darn vegan cookbook out. I know that some people like pictures in there cookbooks but I love the fact that you get so many more recipies without them. The book reads like a collection of grandma's recipies, but there are thousands of different grandma's from all over the world... And it's veganified! It inspires me to cook and stops me from using my repertoire of ~10 recipies that I so often fall back on. Love!
