I saw this on the shelf and grabbed it, since Keto-friendly eating is cane sugar -free, which is one of the things I need.
The first section on basics of the Keto diet seems easy to understand but gives a good understanding. Someone thinking about this diet would probably need to consult other sources, but the author includes three title suggestions in the text to start.
I was unfortunately not able to try any of these recipes-- they are all sugar- and gluten-free, but they also rely heavily on high-fat dairy (sour cream, whipping cream) which I also can't really tolerate right now. A few use coconut milk or coconut oil instead, but just for kicks, that makes my asthma take off and I'm really worried about encroaching into anaphylaxis territory.
Even though I couldn't try any of them, these recipes look great-- very simple, most have only a few ingredients, and easy to make. Recommended for regular readers/eaters, too, simply because these recipes all look delicious and easy-peasy. I will definitely check this out again if I can add more dairy back into my diet.
