E.L. Young is a science and technology journalist with extensive knowledge of the gadgets that appear in the story, all of which are based on real-world inventions or projects currently in development. Young writes for New Scientist, a British science magazine, also published in the United States. She learns about the latest and most important research in all kinds of fields and gets to go directly to the scientists for the full story – which helped in writing the STORM series. STORM: The Infinity Code marks her worldwide fiction debut.

Six scientists are working on a top secret known as inferno, but before their work can be completed, the secret location is sabotaged, and five of the scientists are killed. Now only one is alive, Dave Wickett, who is now being hunted down as well, and is forced into hiding. That's where storm comes in, Will, Andrew, and Gaia, all talented children interested in investigation and crime. They are all working for Barrington Shute, a skilled CIA detective. Suddenly, Storm is forcefully hired by a mysterious family member of one of the fallen scientists, known as Abigail. When they arrive in Switzerland, all trails are faint of the massacre, but before all hope is lost, will thinks otherwise. Will's uncle, a former Russian secret service member, has ties to an ally in Switzerland. When they finally figure out who is responsible for the killings, the are in shock, and realize it had been under their noses the whole time. Together, Will, Andrew, and Gaia, infiltrate a complex known as "Black sphere", only to find a old German scientist, who had wished to use Dave Wickett to finish project inferno, and use it for himself. But to the rescue comes Barrington Shute, with his new, more advanced technology, he is able to cease the mayhem, but not in time. Storm's ally has gone rogue, and no one is there to stop her. While this book was very action packed and exciting, the thing that stood out to was you should never assume things until you know everything. The main reason why I think this is because throughout the whole story, there was always a suspicious and "not trustworthy" vibe from Shute, but in the end he was just trying to keep an eye out on the three kids. But it turns out that one of the most trustworthy characters, the ally, was in fact, a traitor, just using her allies as resources. this is why I think that you should never assume things until you know everything. This book was a great read. If you like action, mystery, but also emotion and friendship, this is a great read for you. El Young does a good job of grabbing the reader's attention at the end of the book by putting a important plot twist to re-hook the reader. The best thing about this book is that it is only one of three, making it a great long car ride book, or in my case, a great long plane ride book.

E.L. Young continues her series on the alliance of misfit geniuses called 'STORM'. They begin to investigate a missing person and then are warned off by MI-6 when they get close. No problem. There are plenty of other mysteries aound Project Fireball to explore.

Too bad their lives are at risk from both the criminals they are investigating and their allies!

Third in the STORM series, summer for Will, Andrea, and Gaia seems normal until a group of scientists are killed in Switzerland - all except for one.

Forced on the run by megalomaniacs and every government agency on the planet, the man disappears off the face of the Earth in the process. Using their genius intelligence, their spy training, information from the man's daughter, and high-tech gadgets, Will, Andrea, and Gaia will put themselves in mortal danger in order to locate the scientist and bring him to safety.

The stakes are high and no one knows who to trust. Will the three succeed and survive their toughest mission yet?

An action-packed spy adventure. The plot is gripping; the characters are fascinating, easy to relate to, and memorable. Fans of adventure, spy fiction, and Anthony Horowitz will love reading STORM: THE BLACK SPHERE.

This book is amazing i am at chapter 41 and elke is pointing a gun at webb and i kind of feel bad for weeb i mean his face is ripped off and burning from pepper spray but anyways this book is beeter then the first and i recommend it to everybody that likes spy novels but what i loike most about this one is that the spys are kids andhave cool gagets and stuff.
