A fantastic read! A perfect blend of thriller, mystery, romance, and contemporary, UNCHARTED features great characters, a marvelous setting, and a mythology so fabulous and complete that I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Readers who love Celtic legends, maps, and secret societies (and who doesn't?) will want to put this on their TBR shelf ASAP. I can't recommend it highly enough! ...more

"Maybe we can't appreciate the beauty without the sadness, maybe we can't love without suffering loss." -Erin Cashman, UNCHARTED

Official Comments: Journey through the fog into the atmospheric world of UNCHARTED, a stunning new fantasy where legend and reality come together in the form of a deadly mystery, where every page simmers with danger, magic, myth, and romance. Readers are sure to fall in love with this dark, gripping story that brings ancient Ireland to life on the misty shores of modern

I finished reading Uncharted last night and wow. It's been so long since I've read such a well written book with both mystery and adventure.

Hands down, my favourite part of this book was Annabeth. The girl was just amazing—I admired her so much. She's been through a lot but she's fierce and full of tenacity and never gives up when it comes to saving people she loves. I felt her grief and her worry throughout the book, and thought Cashman did such a good job

This book was held an intriguing premise, a gorgeous cover, and a host of problems for me. I felt like it had a lot of potential, but it got quite lost and I had a lost of Insta conversations with my co-blogger where I spammed her mercilessly with my struggles.

The good parts, since I always like to start with the sunny side up...except with my eggs...and not most days with the sun...or like anytime until I'm about to fail in a review as much as I'm about to with this one:

Erin Cashman is a master storyteller, and Uncharted is a strong follow-up to her award-winning debut novel, The Exceptionals. Erin finds portals in the seemingly ordinary world and leads us into uncharted territories of mystery, magic, and Irish mythology. This is the only novel I've seen that creatively brings to life the phantom island of Hy-Brasil, a place that once appeared on ancient maps somewhere west of Ireland. I loved the solid mystery plotting combined with a paranormal twist, and the ...more

This book snagged my attention from the start and held me to the end. I found myself holding my breath, quickly turning pages, as Annabeth, our heroine, untangled the mystery behind an uncharted island. I loved the Irish folklore driving this story. It’s so intriguing. Erin Cashman knows how to bring to life a setting and create well-rounded characters. Even side characters feel alive with their own dark secrets. Annabeth grows and changes throughout the story and you’ll find yourself rooting fo ...more

I was lucky enough to snag an advanced copy of UNCHARTED, and it totally BLEW ME AWAY! This book is bursting with all of my favorite things: a mysterious island, secret societies, Irish folklore, a lush atmospheric setting, a totally swoon-worthy love interest (GRIFFIN!!!!!!), deadly secrets, and SO much danger and tension that kept me madly flipping pages. Annabeth is a wonderful, plucky heroine who was so easy to root for. I loved watching her come to terms with her guilt and depression and tr ...more

I could not put this book down! Uncharted has a bit of everything- romance, suspense, action, an ancient legend, and so on. The author's writing is captivating, pulling you into the pages, and bringing you along on a mysterious adventure. An important aspect for me in a novel is character development, which is extremely prominent in Uncharted. The characters are lovingly relatable, yet strong and complex, struggling with decisions that could ultimately mean life or death. Uncharted reaches a wid ...more

Uncharted is rich with Irish legends, history, secret societies, romance and suspense. This book is a page turner and kept my interest from the very moment I started reading! Annabeth has such an incredible character arc--and I loved how she grew and changed throughout the course of the story. Mental illness, guilt and regret are dealt with in such a provoking way, it's also a perfect choice for book groups. I highly recommend it for both teens and adults! ...more

Intrigue, adventure, and romance--what's not to like? I couldn't put it down, and neither could my teen. We had a great time discussing the twists, the relationships, and even the mythology that shimmers just below the surface of the story. I look forward to Cashman's next! ...more

*I received a free copy of Uncharted by #partner Page Street Kids in exchange for an honest review.*

Uncharted is an entertaining story full of mystery, myths, & danger with a little bit of romance mixed in for good measure. Our heroine, Annabeth, is at the tender age of seventeen- not quite a women, but not a child anymore. When we first meet her she's desperately trying to hold it together after losing her beloved mother in a tragic accident she blames herself for. When her father gets the sad

I just finished reading Uncharted and I will start by saying that the author truly has a way of storytelling that ensnared me right from the start. The mystery, legends and the action were extraordinarily well put together and I simply couldn't get enough of it. This well-written book is for anyone who loves Celtic lore and strong characters!

Annabeth quickly became a female I could and would admire and Griffin who exudes raw masculinity had a side to him that just had me wanting to cuddle up rig

Author Erin Cashman delivers a fast-paced, atmospheric story that walks a fascinating line between science and magic in UNCHARTED. Steeped in folklore and adventure, the evocative language and cinematic structure will keep you turning pages until the very end (and that last chapter will make you pine for a sequel!!) I loved so much about this story, especially strong-willed, tenacious Annabeth, brooding Griffin, and their slowly smoldering dynamic. Cashman also cleverly treats the book's setting ...more

(Disclaimer: I received this free book from the publisher. This has not impacted my review which is unbiased and honest.)

Uncharted completely surprised me. I was totally expecting this mystery thriller that would keep me up at night. But around half way through the book, the story takes a sort of fantasy twist in an entirely different direction. It felt like night and day in some ways. There was tons of mystery and danger, but it took on a different hue entirely.

Thank you to Page Street Publishing for a copy of the ARC in exchange for a fair review.

Annabeth has been struggling since her mother died, and she really isn't looking forward to attending another funeral especially not the parents of Griffin. They used to be really close before her mother passed away. Lately Annabeth wonders what exactly is going on, because all of the members of the Magellan club have died except for Uncle Richard.

When the police barge in shortly after the funeral and Annabet

UNCHARTED is an unputdownable page-turning thriller that will keep you guessing until the end. The characters leap off the page and keep you rooting for Annabeth as she unravels a mysterious legend. The author does a fabulous job of blending the contemporary setting with lush fantasy. I highly recommend this book!

Mystery, mood, myth, scenery of magical beauty, and a heroine with passion and determination. I dove in heart first.

Uncharted intrigued me from the very first moment I glimpsed its cover and description. I knew I was going to love it, and I did! This book is pretty much my 'catnip' of a story: a dark mystery, mysterious parents, secret societies, ancient legends brought out of the shadows and into the light, and a determined, uniquely voiced protagonist. I loved every moment of this!

I loved the intrigue surrounding a mysterious island and the fact that the story unfolded at a huge estate (nod to Agatha Christie). I wish there had been more about the island - letters, journal entries, visits - but the story still kept me engaged.

Well, another book bust. I keep waiting for a really REALLY good book this year, and so far, a month into 2019, I haven't felt super into a book yet.

I had high hopes for this one. I really did. I even read the prologue in Barnes & Noble to make sure I wasn't buying a book I'd dislike.

But, besides the sumptuous cover and the intriguing prologue of this book, I didn't really care for it. Honestly, I can't say enough about the cover. It is so much more impressive in person. It has this gorgeous scr

I loved Uncharted right from the prologue! It was a unique storyline that did a great job of blending several genres, I actually had a hard time deciding where to "shelve" it.

The Mystery.
Right from the start my mind was coming up with all sorts of theories, all of which were wrong. I've read enough dystopian and paranormal books that it takes all of 5 seconds for me to turn any character suspicious. Sometimes I feel like I'm re-reading a story plot, like running in a cir
