Seemed promising, but the writing is terrible. The flow of the text is often awkward, and the voice does not sound natural. Reading multiple passages out loud confirmed the hypothesis that a much stronger edit would have helped. Have you ever heard anyone say "cotton to" when what they were trying to say was "understand"? It's crazy.

The "playbook" aspect is light on examples from real life companies, and the techniques often lack enough depth for any practical application. I've read a lot of

Remarkably practical and useful book that posits the combination of design thinking, systems thinking, and combining them in a hybrid manner (with an appropriately diverse team) to create innovative solutions.

This book is a hot mess that superficially covers 1,000 topics without any obvious coherent structure or depth. On top of that it's hard to read and written in an incomprehensible manner so that I couldn't even bring myself to read it from start to finish once. To someone who wants to learn about design thinking I cannot recommend this in any way.

For a book that claims to be "the first design thinking book that lives the mindset from the first to the last page" I wonder if the authors actually

One of the good books which combines design thinking with systems thinking and giving insights how strategic foresight helps us to create greater visions. The book focuses on the design for future where it talks about the design criteria in digitization, the design of ecosystems and the
options of how to combine data analytics and design thinking.
The book stimulates and helps readers to put well-known and new tools in the right context of the
application; to reflect on the entire scope of design

Very comprehensive read about the various methods & tools of Design Thinking.

I also love the approach of starting the book by defining various personas with their unique needs and aspirations leading to the methods & tools which are suitable for them i.e. attempting to explain the book similar to a project in a design/innovation portfolio - really unique and interesting approach. This makes it a must-read for those who are passionate about Design Thinking & Innovation.

As I learned more about design thinking I began to understand that it is an application of various principals and extends beyond methodology. The playbook offers various applications that are very insightful. Explanations are clear and easy to understand. The content is very extensive and enriching. My favourite part of the book is the introduction of the business ecosystem design which has so much potential for inclusive growth in the external environment. Overall, very impressive.
There are some great takeaways but overall just too much information crammed in a way that is not easy to follow- personas aren’t strong enough to remember, chapter sections don’t emphasise the takeaways clearly, etc.

There are better books for design thinking methodology but the first section is a good visual walk though for complete beginners.

An overview of multiple topics - from design thinking, to systems thinking, lean start-up, AI, digital transformation, visual facilitation and more. Personally did not find anything new, but you can find info for all the buzzwords in one single place.

Very comprehensive, and what I love more is how the authors marry the various business protocols with DT, and into something that makes a little more sense. Love the inclusion of digitization contexts too, which makes the materials even more relevant and current.

Great introduction to Design Thinking

Great content, didn’t like the way it was told, not much of a fan of stories of fake people, but messages were good
