Music and longing collide in this ballad of unrequited love!

Nino Arisugawa, a girl who loves to sing, experiences her first heart-wrenching goodbye when her beloved childhood friend, Momo, moves away. And after Nino befriends Yuzu, a music composer, she experiences another sad parting! Luckily, Nino reunites with Momo and Yuzu in high school, but things haven’t played out the way anyone expected…

At long last, In No Hurry’s nationwide tour has begun! Amidst the excitement, Yuzu—who can no longer deny his feelings for Nino—has finally declared war on Momo. And Momo, sensing the threat from Yuzu, has hardened his own resolve. But as the tour heats up, a big surprise is in store for them both!

YOOOOOOOO.....THIS VOLUME THO?? LIKE-??

We really learn a lot about Yuzu here. (Finally) the reason why his mom hates music so much. Why he suddenly can't sing anymore, and his super strong feelings for Alice. I love how this relationship also explores the growing relationship between Alice and Yuzu. For the last volumes, Alice was really too focused on Momo to actually care about Yuzu, so I felt like this was a nice change of pace. Anyway, this is probably the best volume yet. Especially the last chapter. I'm so excited to see this arc continue and how this will all culminate at their joint show. Arigato for this great volume, Fukuyama-sensei!

I love this series, but if I read too many volumes in a row, I'll turn back into a moody angst-ridden proto-goth teenage girl.

I've never been this torn over a love triangle! I know that Nino loves Momo (and Momo loves Nino - even though he especially won't or hasn't admitted it), but I adore Yuzu and he's always been there for her and helped her. The angst just keeps building with this volume and I have no idea where it's going to end up - everyone (especially Nino) will need to "save" Yuzu (help him overcome his tragic past) but beyond that, I'm just not sure.

Some interesting backstory and character development in this volume! I have to say, though, the guys' behavior toward the girls they like occasionally borders on creepy. 😬

SOOOOOOO GOOOOOODDDDDD!!!

I cannot get enough of this series!! It is absolutely phenomenal and just when I think the stakes can't get any higher, BOOM! They do in such unexpected ways!

Nothing is NOT complicated for these characters. It doesn't matter if it's in regards to romance, music, or a combination, all of these characters have something going on. However, Yuzu takes the win with his heartbreaking backstory and then that "plot twist" at the end. Like what in the world just happened?!

Last volume we got Momo's backstory and I am just amazed at his character development! I remember really really reallyyyy disliking his character by A LOT, but now my heart hurts from him. He's got a long road to healing, but I am SO thankful for his "manager" who is helping him to be his REAL self and just create things he enjoys without worry of needing to make money. She is such a wonderful character and deeply thankful for her role in Momo's life.

And good ol' Alice. I love this girl! She has been such a phenomenal character to follow and LOVE how she is learning to stand on her own feet without specifically trying to reach Momo. Yes, she still wants to, but her awareness of other things outside of him was such a pivotal part in this volume particularly. I loved how she was able to see how important In No Hurry is to Yuzu and just see her experience being the forefront of a show through new eyes.

Lastly, MIOUUUUU!! I absolutely love her character and LOVED how she touched all these characters! She is amazing and just really really really like her! I hope good things for her! <3

Overall, another epic and incredible volume! I adore the music parts and seeing everyone grow has been so satisfying. <3

Ohhh, I loved this as much as the last volume! I could feel the music and the characters were great as always. The story is getting better and better and it's nice to see how everyone came together at the end. Onto the enxt one.

Yuzu manages to sing a bit during their next show and the band is completely taken aback. Yuzu finally confesses to Alice that he loves (honestly I thought he was too much of a coward to do it or wouldn't do it in time) and Alice doesn't know how to react. She talks to Miou about it, and Miou says that everyone but her apparently knew it, and she tells her that she needs to listen to everything he's got to say when they meet up later that night. And the look Yuzu gives her after he tells her he loves her again on the beach...wow I wish someone could look at me like that. She thanks him for loving her and then promptly passes out, and Yuzu is determined to not give up on her.

Meanwhile Momo is having flashbacks of Nino from when they were kids and enjoying them a bit too much. Nino and the boys get invited to watch Silent Black Kitty's performance before their own later on, and Nino sees how good Momo is at the guitar, and then witnesses an interaction between him and his mother. She just sees him as a paycheck maker and Nino defends him and stands up to her. She begs Momo's mom to stay for the concert and she eventually does. The best part was when Miou was singing her heart out for Haruyoshi having decided in the middle of the concert that she's really in love with her and their kiss afterwards is spectacular. Nino talks to her bandmate about how best to respond to Yuzu's declaration and eventually says "The way I feel about him may be even stronger than love." Highly recommended for ages 14+, 5 stars.

I have no more volumes to read right now....nooo!
Seriously, I am so enjoying this series and the way things are left on a cliffhanger, it's like binge watching a tv show, you just want to keep going and going finding out what happens next.
This volume had the characters/summary at the start of the volume again which was great, because I really find it useful, especially when characters are sometimes referred to by different names.
Over all good plot and character development. I have in my mind who I want various characters to end up with, but I don't know if it will pan out that way (I really want Yuzu and Nino together they're just too cute).

Wow this volume was intense! I really thought that Yuzu was going to confess to Nino, but it's definitely coming. Also can't believe that Momo actually helped Yuzu out during the show! Even though I lived the whole volume, the background information about Yuzu and his family was my favorite part, can't wait to see more of that!

The issue was the best so far for me. We got a good look into Yuzu and his past. The band in on tour and not doing so great. Over all I think this was a solid issue. Next volume needs to elaborate more on Yuzus voice and why he just lost it again.

Anonymous Noise, Vol. 9

In No Hurry has started their tour. They will go to bigger and bigger venues. All to lead up to going up against Silent Black Kitty for their last show.

Will Nino, Yuzu, & company make it to the end in one piece?

I think I'm going to have to DNF this series... for right now at least. There's nothing wrong with it per se, but it feels like each volume is the exact same thing over and over again, with minor changes. I don't see the characters growing or changing, and it's a little bit annoying.

In No Hurry is on tour! I love how this shows the grueling, not so glamorous aspect to singing. Everyone is working so hard to make a splash. Nino hasn't give up either - if anything she's learning how much she wants to reach the world with her voice. Really loving the character development here!

Im still holding onto whatever this love triangle is and where it will end up. I'm also invested into the bands, and the music, and while reading the mangas, I'm so excited to finish this manga series and watch the anime to hear the music properly, and hear Alice's 'canary' voice.

"Can you believe that guy was crying over how cool you were?"

Unrequited love is one thing, but at this point I can't understand why Alice still wants Momo. She hardly knows him now. The concert scenes are a rush.

Rockin' on to volume 10.

I am so mad at the cliff hanger and that the library doesn't have the next books and did request they get the next. I did love getting to know more of Yuzu's back story and need more hopefully asap.
