At long last a comprehensive A-Z for matching food and wine. You'd have thought one of these would have been around since the Nouvelle Cuisine crowd rebelled against Escoffier. The time when the classic pairings presumably were longer to be taken for granted. Not as far as I am aware, and thus this is a much welcome volume.

Wine writer Victoria Moore covers the usual, and unusual, combinations. Alongside there are example recipes for trying out. And longer in-depth features on key grapes. You can read it front-to-back; back-to-front or simply dip in and out. Enjoy.
